The start of Bees&Flutterbys.
Trying to run a family home, working in social care and now this tiny adventure entered my little head! I love feeling like i have made someone smile even if they haven't had the best of days, weeks or months, even if its only for a second. I try and tell my friend how good they are at being mummas, to tell them how wonderful they are, how beautiful they are, or just how much their friendship means to me. I think we all need to hear these things once in a while - its very easy to forget to tell them because we think they already know.
I also love seeing gardens or fields of wildflowers! They put a massive smile on my face! They remind me of what i think life should be about...growing in our own individual ways, some quicker than others, some more strong and able to take what life throws at them a little better than others, rising from broken ground, growing from wherever the wind takes them...but all of them beautiful. And all of them extremely important! Our bees, butterflies, insects, animals, soil and fruit, vegetables, medical science need them, so WE need them.
So, i thought why not be able to send a little note to our much loved and appreciated friends, family, work colleagues, neighbours (whoever needs that little smile) and give them wildflower seeds that they can easily plant in the ground and in time see wildflowers, and then they may be reminded on a ‘not so good day’ that you care, that they are just as strong, beautiful and needed as those wildflowers.
And that is all i want, for everyone to feel as strong and as important to our lives as wildflowers are - much love - Shelby.
