Banana bread is a soft bread which has bananas as an additional ingredient to the typical vanilla cake recipe.

Banana bread first became popular in the 1930’s and soon became a dessert eaten by all. Some people regarded banana bread as a byproduct of the Great Depression as housewife’s refused to throw away overripe bananas. Others believe it was a dish to popularize baking powder and soda.

Nevertheless, banana bread is a delicious treat for both young and elderly.

These cookies are one of the varieties of cookies. Invented in the 1930’s, it is an amazing desert which can be consumed anytime any day anywhere.

Who doesn’t love Chocolate Chip Cookies? They are one of the most consumed desserts in the entire world!

Invented by American Chefs Ruth Graves Wakefield and the Sue Brides in 1938, it soon became the favorite cookie in American homes and is now the pioneer of cookies.

The melted chocolate dough, melted chocolate chips and some sprinkled sugar with a glass of milk is one of the best combinations in the world. Don’t trust me? Try it out yourself!

Wow! Christmas is here and with that, comes done of my favourite cookies- the thumbprint cookies. They are also known as Jam Drops in Australia.

These are similar to shortbread cookies with an added ingredient- jam. Typical vanilla flavor cookies, these are one of the essential parts of a good old Christmas.

Golden Latte is a drink associated with delightfulness and taste. A drink loaded with antioxidants, it is not only nutritious but also flavoursome.

"Lady finger/Okra"

The famous bhindi aka the lady finger is a delicious vegetable which almost all of us eat atleast once in a fortnight.
I personally like this vegetable and have had it so many times from my personal kitchen garden that I've had my fill of it.

Its original is still not known. However scientists believe that the cultivation of Okra beagn in the 12th century in Ethopia. However it became famous only in the 17th century. This vegetable was introduced to the Americas in 1658 and became one of the most consumed items of that time.

PALAK PANEER

Green, leafy spinach is the saviour of vegetables, which can be incorporated into the variety of side dishes, appetizers, salads and entrées.
Palak paneer is a store house of vitamins, minerals and a huge amount of nutrients.

Here comes one of the most relished dish in the northern Indian cuisine- Palak Panner.

Belonging to a vegetarian household, this dish has become a part of my family and is cooked so often that it has a cultural significance for me.

This French, delicious desert is a delight for all. They are perfect midnight snack, full of cream of different flavours.

It is a sweet, meringue based confection made with eggs, sugar, almond and food colouring.

Originated in France, this delicacy’s existence can be traced back to French cookbooks of 16th and 17th centuries. It is said to be created by ihe Italian chef of queen Catherine De Medici.
Now, this desert is consumed world wide and different countries like Japan, Switzerland and USA have their own varieties. In countries like Portugal, Australia, France, Belgium and Switzerland, McDonald's sells macarons in their McCafés

“Apple”

The most famous saying of the apple, which everybody has heard of is “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”

This fruit actually originated in the so called ‘fruit forest’s Eastern Europe. It was quite small and bitter at that time, and the larger, sweeter apples were harder to find.

A Smith associated with apple relates to the story of Adam and Eve. Well, according to the Christian tradition the apple is associated with Eve’s disobedience, right? Wrong. Eve did eat a fruit from the tree of knowledge but the fruit was never explicitly mentioned as an apple.- it was just put in by the artists.

Apple has many legends and an ancient history. This fruit never fails to astound me.
