Shoot 5 is pending….
That’s right, I’m doing ANOTHER shoot 😂 and this one is in only 4 weeks time
So because I’m the way I am, and because I work with .maria.fitness who likes to push people to their limits 😂 I am going to be giving this one my all!
4 weeks of a meal plan, 3 weight sessions and 1 cardio session and giving it my all to feel my damn best 💪
Now I’m not doing this to get skinnier, or to hit a certain weight… but more to prove to myself as someone who has always struggled with her relationship with food, that it is possible to still challenge myself and prove I am stronger than I’ve ever been before mentally!
So yes, these 4 weeks are going to be challenging, but I’ve got the best possible support system in .maria.fitness to keep me motivated and also make sure I don’t lose my head 💁♀️😂
So if you’re someone who has struggled or still struggles with their relationship with food, this one is for you, to show you it is possible to overcome it ☺️
And then after this…. We bulk 😂🙃😬
There’s 2 months left of this year….
That’s 61 days to make a difference.
A whole human can be formed in only 9 months…
My life has been flipped upside down in the last 10 months…..

It’s been one whole week since the shoot and I’m gonna be honest, I’ve had a full on and much needed deload week!
I haven’t tracked a single calorie or step and have only worked out once
But as of tomorrow we are back to it. Not because of guilt, but because routine and structure makes me feel healthy and strong💪
Plus in just over a months time we have our group shoot and I don’t want my clients showing me up with their incredible progress😉
To all those new mamas out there…
It does get better!
These pictures are a year apart.
I’d just started exercising again after having Lily. I felt HUGE.
I felt like I had such a long journey ahead of me.
I was tired. Overwhelmed.
Id completely lost my identity
But….
I kept pushing.
I turned up for myself every week.
Whether it was one workout or just walking.
I did actually start logging food until February this year because I needed to eat intuitively to breastfeed.
So I listened to my body
And slowly, over time…without giving up on myself…
Changes happened
My weight came down
My confidence shot up
And I found my identity! Not as Lily’s mum… but as a bad ass mum that’s strong and healthy and will do whatever she has to in order to show my little girl that it’s ok to believe in yourself and push for what you want to achieve 🔥

Photoshoots are great….
But let’s not forget how bodies REALLY look!
No matter the pose, the lighting, the diet, the hard work…

Incredibly pleased with the results from this shoot. 6 weeks of tracking, going to the gym and prioritising myself has really paid off.
First photoshoot as a mum and at 15 months post partum I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come 🥰

Time for a BUSY weekend 😃
Today is our GLOW 20km walk for mental health UK in London and I’m BUZZING for it 🥰 can’t wait to see some of our fabulous clients and walk for such a brilliant cause ❤️
Then after a very late night of travelling back home…
Tomorrow is photoshoot day for me and 3 of our incredible clients 📸
They’ve all worked SO bloody hard and are going to be showcasing some incredible progressions - whether it’s physical progression or overcoming mental barriers and finding good freedom - they’re going to be shining with confidence tomorrow!
Stories may be quiet this weekend but I’ll make sure to fill you in on EVERYTHING next week ❤️
I’ll never binge again….
….is just not an accurate sentence and is often where most people make mistakes.
Yesterday I had my first binge in such a long time, and yet that doesn’t mean I’m no longer in a better place.
Sometimes life gets in the way, stresses are high, hormones are messy, hunger beats us…. And binges can happen
The worst mistake people make with dieting or trying to overcome binge eating is thinking that it will never happen again or every day will be perfect.
This isn’t true ❌
Once we accept that bad days will happen. We can then learn how to overcome them and keep persistent with our health journey.
For me, with bingeing, I was able to identify my triggers, know who to speak to about it, and what actions to take to prevent it happening again today.
That isn’t a failure
That’s the key to success! 🗝️
Week 5/6 ✅
Going in to the final week and I’m so excited for the shoot on Sunday! 📸
This weeks been tough. Monday was no tracking as it was my birthday so had dinner and dessert out as well as some treats at the zoo! Plus birthday cake 😇
My stomach was incredibly bloated and painful for the first half of the week due to lack of gallbladder and trying to process the fattier foods from celebrating
But we kept pushing!
✅1x gym session, 1x pt session, 1x run
✅13.5k average steps
✅6/7 days tracked to calories (1,800kcals)
✅protein hit every day
Still managed to maintain my weight this week 🥰
Now going into the final week we are still keeping everything the same ☺️
I’ve got a 20km charity walk Saturday which is gonna be high expenditure and then a very late night so Sunday morning is all about rest and recover before the shoot 📸
I’ve also got my spray tan booked for Friday night (hoping it doesn’t sweat away on my walk 😂)
Can’t wait to see the final results next week 💪
Week 4/6 ✅
Fourth week done and we’re pushing through!

💙calories hit 6/7 days (1800kcals a day)
💙steps prioritised(average 13k)
💙2x gym and 1x pt and 1x run
💙water at no less than 2L a day
This week was a bit of a rollercoaster! Excellent beginning of the week, stayed on track and lowered my calories slightly to allow for celebrations over the weekend.
Didn’t track Sunday as allowed myself to have fun for my birthday 🥰
Prioritised my workouts and even got up at 5.30am on a Saturday to run!
2 weeks left to the shoot and I’m currently feeling very bloated and puffy from all the food! But not going to stress or do anything drastic! Just back to my daily goals and keeping consistent and by shoot day I’ll be feeling myself again 😎
Oh and I’ll also be logging a slice of birthday cake every day this week but it will be within calories 🥰
God I love my job ❤️

Week 3/6 ✅
Third week of photoshoot prep done and I’m finally getting into the swing of it!
⬇️0.25kg this week
💙calories hit every day (1800kcals a day)
💙steps smashed (average 14k)
💙2x gym and 1x pt and 1x run
💙water at no less than 2L a day
Once my period was out the way the bloating went down and we finally started seeing some progress! Managed to enjoy a date night meal out and still be in calories and my hunger is finally settling 💁♀️
3 weeks left to the shoot! Birthday celebrations this weekend so will just be being mindful over the weekend but still enjoying myself 🥰 let’s see what we can achieve! 💪
Also, is it me or am I somehow developing glutes WHILST dieting .maria.fitness ? 😂
Coaching is more than just giving you a calorie goal and telling you to “eat better”

It’s breaking food rules - yes you can have pancakes for breakfast, but how can we make it more nutritional to keep us fuller for longer?

If you’re not making daily choices to better your health, you’ll never improve your confidence!
We want to be focusing on
💙movement - walks, strength training, cardio, whatever it is that makes you FEEL good
💙nutrition - are you having a balanced diet? Are you prioritising health over convenience?
💙hydration - are we drinking enough? Are we peeing enough?
💙 digestion - are we bloated? What can we do to minimise this? What foods help? Are we going to the toilet regularly?
💙mental health - are we taking time for ourselves? Are we minimising stress levels and being kind to ourselves?
If we are doing these things daily… the confidence will come!
