For the last 15 years I have spent my time traveling the country (and world) as a touring musician. Spending 200 days on the road each year meant visiting nearly 200 different towns. Exploring those towns and meeting the people that make them what they are was always a huge driving force behind what kept me enjoying the touring lifestyle. In every city, the endless search for the best restaurant, the best outdoor cafe, or the best view of the downtown skyline existed for me to uncover. It was an organic way to interact with the people of these towns and cities, and to get a better understanding of life outside my bubble. Taking the time to explore and seek out the best local experience turned into an obsession. An obsession over looking at neighborhood maps. An obsession over the most efficient and comfortable lodging for five very different people. An obsession over making sure that everyone else I knew who would be traveling to that same city would have an experience as good, or better, than mine. CYN MTN, with the help of hundreds of local businesses around the country, is my way of giving you the chance to take a dive into what life in a place you don't live could be like. We encourage you to try something new. Use CYN MTN as an introduction to places you never knew existed.
