Just an hour ago, we finished conducted/facilitated the distribution of Interventions Monitoring Card (IMC) to 115 rice farmers from Brgy. Campabagang & Brgy. Guinhalinan.

Some IMC contains 5,000 pesos worth of financial assistance to qualified rice farmers of this municipality. Salamat sa pinaskohan Department of Agriculture..

By next year napud ang uban.. ☺️

Work updates:
Distribution of Fertilizer Discount Voucher (FDV), held at Brgy. Campbagang, Barobo Surigao Del Sur last December 12, 2023.

The said intervention is given to 80 rice farmers from Brgy. Guinhalinan & Campbagang. Moreover, the said rice farmer beneficiaries were given Fertilizer Discount Voucher (FDV) amounting to 2,000 each worth of Fertilizer, which is equivalent to 1 sack and 9 kilos of Complete fertilizer.

In the celebration of the 62nd Araw ng Barobo and 6th Sarapang Festival 2022, the Office of the Municipal Agriculture will once again spearhead the Agri-Fishery Trade Fair 2022. This will commence on October 21-24, with special participation of the 22 Barangays of Barobo Surigao Del Sur.

Let us witness and support our local farmers & fisherfolks by buying their special products and delicacies.

CORN FARMERS AND FISHERFOLK RECEIVED FUEL DISCOUNTS.

The Department of Agriculture-XIII, through Corn Program and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office, has distributed Fuel Discount Cards to registered corn farmers and fisherfolk in Barobo Municipal Gym, last August 10, 2022.

The activity was graced by the Municipal Mayor of Barobo Hon. Joey S. Pama together with Municipal Agriculturist Johnny Ramos, DA and BFAR Officials.

A total of 88 registered corn farmers and fisherfolk are the recipients of this municipality.

Fuel Subsidy Program aims to provide assistance and cushion the impact from the surge of oil price hike which has a domino effect to the increase in prices of goods.

The Fuel Discount Cards were issued in partnership with the Universal Storefront Service Corporation (USSC).
