The Saeeda Akhtar Clinical Institute held its second successful training session on “Emotional Intelligence and Professional boundaries”. Conducted byDr Zeina Khouri-Stevens RN, Ph.D. at
Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City - UAE on 14th December 2022 for the new nurses orientation.
The session involved how caregivers can improve the patient journey by focusing on understanding, processing, and expressing feelings. Paying attention, empathizing and understanding other people’s feelings. These are all key to building balanced, healthy and satisfying relationships.

The Saeeda Akhtar Clinical Institute held a workshop based on John Hopkins Evidence-based practice model. It was delivered by Dr. Zeina Khouri-Stevens RN, Ph.D. to 10 Nurse educators from Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City - UAE.
Evidence-based practice (EBP) is the process of individualising care and fostering wise clinical decision-making through the integration of existing research, clinical knowledge, and patient preferences.
The workshop highlighted the Practice Question, Evidence, and Translation process. These help in best shaping clinical practice through incorporating and implementing the latest evidence.
