The storm survey from the NWS Louisville. The Tornado in Bowling Green traveled over 2 mi. It tracked near the Three Springs Rd and Cumberland Trace Rd area. Estimated max winds of 90 mph. Thankfully, no reported deaths or injuries!

Today is the two year anniversary of the deadly nocturnal December 10-11 Tornado outbreak. It was an uneasy feeling with yesterday’s rounds of severe storms.

ICYMI: A big weekend system is set to bring heavy rain, wind and thunder our way! A few storms may pack stronger gusts Saturday afternoon through late evening.

Today's weather is mostly dry, mild & breezy! Winds will crank up ahead of scattered showers and storms that arrive Saturday afternoon and through the evening. There is a chance that some of these storms may carry stronger gusts. The severe weather risk is low but not zero. *Not expecting anything like the Dec 10-11 severe outbreak a couple of years ago*.
Good Friday! Plan for a breezy and mild day. Winds will crank up ahead of Saturday's heavy rain and thunder.
