Stoneleaves
Succulents, Cacti, Tillandsia, and more!
About that time! My favorite time of year, warmer days, longer evenings, and explosions of growth! We will be coming back soon!
A couple of rooting bins I have recently finished, just waiting for them to branch out and they'll be ready to go to new homes!
Jellybeans! Aka heads of Sedum rubrotinctum
Echeveria nodulosa, the painted echeveria
Echeveria lilacina, the ghost echeveria
Aeonium zwartkop "Black Rose" this morning
I now have yuccas everywhere! Sharper than any agave I've had before
Officially up to my elbows with "Prickly Pear" pads. Just need to do some descaling and they'll be good to go!
Sempervivum species don't get the same love as their more ornate brethren, but there are a few types out there that'll break up the monotony, like this sempervivum "Maryente"
Sedum pachyphytum "Salsa"
Late night slicin' n dicin'. I had not realized that I've sold so much recently that I'm down to less than 1 flat of rooted succulents, so this is the first round of new cuts getting potted up to replenish. I should have a lot more variety available within the next few weeks!
Delicately pink new growth from this Sedum rubrotinctum "Aurora"
T. velutina in the evening sunlight!
T. juncea, very thin and tall!
T. filifolia, extremely fine leaved and delicate
T. ionantha rubra, soft with beautiful red tips
T. tenuifolia, aka "Emerald Forest"
Tiny and pale, T. harrisii
T. tricolor, very spikey
Interestingly shaped ones, T. schiedeana
T. brachycaulos, available both red and green
I think T. caput-medusae is my new favourite tillandsia species. Only 4 available, though
Beautiful Tillandsia houston "Red Princess" with quarter for scale. Several on hand, all with bloom stalk!
Not my typical level of photography, but once I get pricing set up, I'll be in business with this shipment of !
Tillandsia are another love of mine. What's simpler than a soil-less plant that requires minimal water and light? I have quite the shipment on the way, should have dozens available within the week!
Echeveria "Red Sky". When stressed these look incredible!
Echeveria "Black Flash"!
Fuzzy appreciation post
This big gnarly chunk of green is a Cereus forbesii/validus monstrose form, commonly called a "Ming Thing" . Honestly surprised they haven't been rebranded as a "Hulk" cactus these days.
The blooming flower of a Plieospilos nelii, the "Split Rock" succulent
Mutations can randomly occur in succulents and create some pretty neat effects when they do. The first picture shows typical Crassula "origami" heads growing with a 4 point structure. Picture 2 shows a mutated head with a 6 point pattern. All other heads on the 6 point vine have 4 point heads as well.
Bringing back frosted tips?
Important distinctions! Sedum adolphii actually has several cultivars, not just "Firestorm". Here is "Firestorm" on the left growing beside "Sunset" on the right!
Echeveria compressicaulis rooted head.
Found a very pale one in a bin today. Hard to believe I've never noticed it before..
Sedum species, most likely adolphii, maybe "Lime Gold" or "Golden Glow" variants.
Graptosedum species, most likely the 'Alpenglow' hybrid, or very similar. Shown in 2"
Graptosedum "California Sunset" rooted head in a 2" pot. Many available
I have a boatload of these baby Echeveria "Purple Delight" available in a spectrum of green to purple shades. Shown in 2" pots
Kalanchoe orgyalis "Copper Spoons"
