Thanks to Derek Salyer and Lauren Salyer from DLS Media, I had the opportunity to capture this image (that I am so drawn to because of the colors) of their client's daughter and Quince dress. Despite the delay with hair and makeup along with unpredictable thunderstorms leaving me 5 mins to shoot before total darkness, I was very pleased with the outcome of this shot. Just opened today at the Cinemark by my house. Stepped in to take a peek at what the hype is all about. Very comfortable leather seats, wall to wall screen, and a sound system like you have never heard before. Watched "Super 8" for five minutes and I was sold. I will definitely be back.

Just a quick "BEFORE and AFTER" of what all sometimes goes into a finished product... It is important to correct everything (composition, lighting, exposure, etc) in camera first when getting your shot. Some times it takes a combination of multiple shots layered as one as you see below. I remember growing up and reading the Sunday newspaper's comic section and playing that game where you had to find all of the things different or missing between the two drawings. Thought it would be fun to do the same below. Haha!

I absolutely love shooting weddings where the bride and groom are free spirited and open to do fun concept shots like this. I cant take credit for this idea but it was too much fun to not try and recreate. Thank you Marcia and Clint for just being awesome! Big congratulations to both Aroldo and Ana! Thank you so much for letting me be part of one of the best wedding parties I had the pleasure of working with! All of the family, friends, the setting, music, entertainment, ...everything was awesome! Just a sneak preview of all of the great pics to come but this one best describes the happy emotion from my good friend and groom. You can't fake that smile! Congrats again! Special thanks to my second photographer and assistant for capturing some great moments as well.
