Oh my goodness what a few days it has been....
I lost my phone on Friday and know exactly where, went back but nothing there at all..... emptied a cage of plastics at Tesco just to be sure, searched the car park twice but nothing..... unfortunately it wasn't locked so who ever picked it up has access to EVERYTHING!!!! Scary. I have spent the last two day trying to secure as much as possible, If you have had any weird messages from me and its out of character please contact me.

We did get the fence done last year… took half of a day just to get one of the old posts out, the clay here is vile, sticky n messy. Happy with the side fence though

Hi gang.
It’s been a while now but I’m thrilled to say……
🥁🥁We have planning permission 🎺
We now have to get the accurate detailed drawings and we are off!!
I can’t wait to get started, I’m getting tired of living in the shed I mean shack!!
I have made some new friends though.

And that’s a wrap for this fence, over 40 metres done, it took a while but we’re happy with it……now to decide what to do 🤔 stain or paint? All ideas are welcome😊

We have our first brave guests coming this weekend 😳.
It’s a lot less shackie now but still not like home…
Collected these beauties yesterday. Free on Facebook market place, my next job is to clean the mortar off and use them for my rustic path. We will need a couple more loads intime.

For anyone that doubted how bad it was in here, check out this beauty!!
We removed the dishwasher oven and sink units… this is the bad smell behind it!!
We had hot water for one day and able to wash dishes not now, it’s in the bath with a bowl… not my bath bowl tho. 🤮
Well…..
Yesterday great news was we now have hot water 😀. First shower in the shack was absolutely fab!!
Because we will be in here for a while we’re trying to make it comfortable so, while I was away Adey painted the rooms we use, put a new sink in the bathroom(free on market place) and today we get rid of the mankie dishwasher and oven… he’s found a piece of wooden worktop to replace around the sink and then it will be MUCH cleaner.
Our neighbour came yesterday and cut our grass with his ride on mower, looks great now and lots of brambles cut down by my very self, sore fingers but a very satisfying result.
Made friends with a robin and found a toad.

It’s been a brilliant few days with our friends but, the shack beckons us today. It’s time to embrace the bowl to bathe in and 🙏🏻 for running hot water soon 🤣.
Away again this coming weekend so won’t complain.

3 nights at the shack with no hot water, standing in the bath tub with a bowl of hot water from the kettle for a wash, Adey booked us into a hotel, a wonderful shower, meal bed n bath the next morning and I’m ready for a couple more days… off to stay with my beautiful mate in Ravenstone for a few days….
Oh and Rain…. More than in Bury that’s for sure.
