A tough shift vs a very decent black rock side tonight. Gellions worked very hard with the depleted squad that travelled through.

Although the game resulted in a loss there was a lot of positives to take from game. Some fantastic saves from keeper Aiden once again and some very decent performances throughout the squad.

After a difficult few weeks in league action, Gellions loosing too both Tomatin UTD and Hill Rovers back to back we’ve managed to pick ourselves up and find ourselves again.

Last week we ran out with a 3-0 win vs G16 and tonight we defeated Stratton 6-3 with a superb team performance.

Stefan Luke scoring 5 quality goals and Paul Reid slotting home also.

We keep pushing, in what is a very tight league this year ⚽️⚽️💪💪

After a disappointing opening league game vs Contin. Gellions we’re keen to get going with the league campaign.

Tonight saw a good battle vs a decent Drakies side which Gellions took all 3 points.

Special mention to Keeper Aiden Mack who once again saved a penalty.

Gellions this afternoon made the short journey too Nairn too take on local side Riverside thistle in a pre season Friendly.

A fantastic performance on a very poor surface , Even more so when we went with only 11 players with key members missing.

Gellions this evening resumed their pre season vs Highland Athletic FC

A tough game at times and a clear showing it’s our first game this year, but plenty positives to take and a good run out for the lads.

A decent run out in a very cold dingwall tonight for the Gellions Squad as we faced new side Kirkhill FC.

Overall a good performance and a valuable game too keep us fit over the winter months.

This afternoon Gellions returned for some winter football and played in a friendly Vs Muir Of Ord Rovers.

A good game all round and was great too get some minutes back into the legs.

Wow!!! What a day Saturday was. A long post but credit where credit is due.

Firstly massive thank you too Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC for facilitating what was a really incredible day. We got the match day experience and more. Grounds man too the match day officials were all brilliant.

A huge thank you too the TKA lads who made the journey through too Inverness for the return leg and made it all possible. They have just been awarded Charity status which is a huge milestone for all the hard work they do for their community and to get that recognition is nothing but deserved.

Thank you too the Gellions Bar who not only look after us Gellions players but welcomed both sets of teams and provided a great venue for the after party. Sore heads well not apologise for.

Thank you too the Milton athletic P6/7 junior team for being fantastic ball boys / girls and mascots for the team and too REF Malcom Macleod for officiating the match and donating his dues too our fundraiser.

On Saturday 09th September , Gellions AFC will be hosting Kickabout Aberdeen at Caley Park for a charity match in aid of Mikeysline. You may remember last season we travelled too Aberdeen to play them and it was a huge success raising over £2600. Now the Aberdeen side travel too Inverness to help tackle an ever growing problem.

Firstly massive thank you too Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC for the hospitality and support in setting this up for what truly is a fantastic cause. Suicides in the highlands are a real problem and as a community we can make a difference and help Mikeysline continue there amazing work.

After last nights victory we finish in a very respectable mid-table position in what was our first season in the competitive 1st division.

The season has had many great moments and results and maybe some we will never talk of again 😅!!

Last night Gellions ended the season with a well deserved Victory over Ness City.

Gellions starting the game very strongly going 3-0 up after some great passages of football allowed Ross Macrae too make a fantastic run into the box and find the net and then Shortly after Paul Reid latched onto a long ball over the top and made no mistake. Play opened up and Ness city were threatening with one effort hitting the bar. Gellions then settled and built up play around the midfield before Michael Corbett added too his tally of goals with a fine finish.

Ness City continued too press and a loose ball in the box allowed them too pull one back.

Notable mention too GK aiden Mackenzie for pulling out a fantastic save after a long range effort looked certain too hit the top corner.

A very poor evening from the Gellions squad this evening after a very good few weeks in the league, completely undone by a classy culloden side.

The complete performance tonight at the Bught. Gellions producing some really good phases of football and got off the the perfect start going 2-0 early on with goals from current top scorer Stefan Luke and finally after 3 seasons with the club trusty CB Matt Donald latched onto an in swinging corner and slotted home for his first ever league goal.

Second half and Tomatin were hunting for a way back and had some close chances but ultimately opened up space for Gellions to exploit resulting in some great finishes from William Robertson and a great solo effort from Graeme McLeod.

MOTM goes to Michael Corbett - grabbing 2 goals for himself and a couple of assists. But credit too the whole team for a well deserved victory.

Very deserving winners this evening after a fantastic performance!! Confidence was high after last weeks big win and the standards were definitely matched.

Strike force duo Paul Reid and Stefan luke continued good form and hounded the defence and were eventually rewarded with Goals taken us 2-0’ up early in the first half. It wasn’t long though before Fortrose responded with a goal of their own.

Second half and Gellions managed too play some great football but for a long spell we’re under some pressure as Fortrose searched for an equaliser. However it was Stefan Luke though that found the net with a great long range effort.

Gellions tails were up and went on the hunt for more goals and William Robertson sent a stunning shot into the bottom corner.

An excellent outing for Gellions tonight Vs Highland Athletic FC. We started well and in difficult conditions built up play through the wide areas and finally took our chances in front of goal.

Fantastic performances throughout the squad but the MOTM goes to Danny Maguire solid defensive display in the midfield.

A decent game Vs league leaders Highland Hospice this evening, Gellions putting in a good defensive display but unfortunately we were just unable to convert some of the chances created and were eventually undone by a great strike that found the bottom corner.

Goalkeeper Aiden Mackenzie providing the goods once again getting low and saving a Hospice Penalty after an accidental handball in the box.

A very tough lesson tonight after being on the receiving end of that.

Gellions managed to find there way back into the game after being 3-0 down and 2 quick fire goals with superb finishes from Paul reid and Stefan luke.

However the quality in the culloden side showed as they blew us away in the remaining 30 mins of the second half.

**Highland AM result **

A very decent outing for the Gellions side this afternoon in culloden, Gellions starting well and found some rhythm early on resulting in 2 goals. Stratton we’re very much in the game though and mounted an attack which saw a penalty being awarded however in form keeper Aiden mckenzie got down well and saved it.

Gellions we’re hungry for more goals and some superb finishes from Ian few , Ross McRae and Craig birnie put the game out of sight.

We’re through to the next round , and looking forward to the challenge that awaits us.
