This weekend Ponderosa Pines will be hosting a benefit run which will benefit Sacandaga Helping Hands! Come on out and join us for some fun and support our great organization!

We have decided to get Sacandaga Helping Hands back up and running. We will be having the first meeting on Tuesday October 18th at 5:30 PM CDL Associates Insurance Agency. We will need volunteers to help with the events and would like to brainstorm on what type of fundraising events we should have. If you would like to participate or know of anyone that would be interested in participating bring them along. If you can’t make it to the meeting but would love to be a part of Sacandaga Helping Hands, contact Laurie Merrow by email [email protected] or call Laurie at 518-774-1532 after 5PM. Sacandaga Helping Hands would like to thank the CMK 5K and the Northville Lion’s for their generous donations to help others in need.

Due to the pandemic and lack of volunteers Sacandaga Helping Hands has not had any fundraisers in a couple of years so donations are very helpful as we continue to receive requests to help others in need.

The staff at CDL Associates Insurance Agency has decided to bring back Sacandaga Helping Hands and will be working on organizing fundraisers in the near future. If anyone is interested in volunteering please give us a call at 518-863-2100.

We would like to remind everyone that Dawn’s funeral/celebration of life is this Friday the 29th from 3-6 p.m. We would also like to thank everyone for their donations. We raised enough money to pay for Dawn’s funeral expenses and have extra to help with the expense of a headstone. Dawn was truly loved by our community and beyond!!!
