It's been a busy summer, and awhile since I've shared what I'm working on. This project was a super special one. I had the joy of working with Ascent Training and Performance to create some fun, inclusive branded stickers ahead of the Capital City Pride Fest. If you have the chance, please check them out. Herbalist and educator Kaylin from Anam Cara Botanicals was looking for and simple, elegant website to sell products, introduce her services, and promote involvement with Farmer’s Markets and educational events. Her site would also provide a space to share herbal medicine resources and learnings. “Anam cara” is a Celtic term translating to “soul friend,” and in early Celtic times would be a person who acted as a teacher, companion, or spiritual guide. We wanted the aesthetic of Kaylin’s site to reflect her deep ties to spirituality and the earth – and images from nature provided the perfect inspiration for rich colors and soft movement.

Our role: Brand colors, image sourcing, site map development, web design, SEO

to one of my favorite branding + packaging projects in collaboration with Kaleidoscope, for one of my favorite Midwest Breweries - Bell's. This was a dream project with meaningful results. The task was to evolve the logo and packaging to create a clean and shoppable brand architecture as Bell's entered new retail markets across the country, without losing the unique, individual personalities of each beer. The results were increased brand awareness, engagement and sales. 🍻

At first glance, the winter months can seem drab and void of color. But the second look, particularly during those special times of day like sunrise and golden hour can be magical. The play of light reveals shades of colors that are softer, quieter, calmer, and understated. It is a gentle reminder that this time of year, though less vibrant, can provide a peaceful and nourishing perspective of our surroundings. I hope you have the opportunity to observe and find inspiration in these small moments of joy.

We developed a layout taking cues from the vibrant colors and deeply moving photos of their clients, while building out some graphic icons and patterns inspired by the Peruvian and Bolivian artistic culture.
