Check this album! Great Lebanese industrial noise.
The sounds on this album are a result of a solo analog jam recorded live as a spontaneous chronological narrative, manipulating an instrumented line-up (guitars, analog drum machine, analog synth, voice and field recordings) that witnesses a progressive degradation of tools collapsing in harmonized chaos.
The outcome is a raw lo-fi cacophonous burst of charged impulsive sonics, mirroring a discordant state and tumultuous venture through Lebanon’s 2020’s.

After releasing several audio cassettes in the eighties, IX-EX-SPLUE published their debut vinyl album in 1989 by keeping their own hypnotizing and alternating acidly sound structure.
This peculiar attitude towards song writing leads the listener to a 40 minutes journey alongside a road accompanied by fury, sadness and hope.

Atlas Kopko was more of a musical project than a band, a descendant of the group Ix-Ex-Splue with their hypnotic improvisations and meditative noise or**es to experimental industrial/noise rock. This description also fits the current production of Atlas Kopko. Atlas Kopko is a follow-up band to Ix-Ex-Splue, but with an expanded musical vocabulary that additionally includes a strong tendency towards cinematographic music. Atlas Kopko consists in this production of musicians , who were all involved in the Basel experimental music scene and partly still are today . Since the Skin And Speech label was also founded at that time, it was so to speak necessary to make this exciting, diverse production accessible to the public..
