✨4 TIPS ON HOW TO GET AN ACCURATE HEIGHT MEASUREMENT IN THE DISNEY PARKS

1️⃣ Have them stand with their feet together.

2️⃣ Have them stretch tall, shoulders up and back. No slouching.

3️⃣ Chin up! Just looking forward, not up or down and a big smile!

4️⃣ Practice makes perfect!! Don't let your first measurement experience be at the parks. Use my height chart to practice at home!

✨I never suggest that you do ANYTHING to make your kiddos taller. No extra tall shoes, stuffing shoes etc... I'm a firm believer that the height restrictions are there for safety. The restraints are made to fit people at certain heights. Don't cheat the system! It's not worth the risk! There are so many other things to do in the parks!

✨Anticipate excitement and avoid disappointment by knowing what rides they can and cannot do before you get there!

🐻💦 This ride requires you to be at least 42".

🐻💦 If you have one of my height charts you can know what rides your kids can and can't go on before you get to the parks! Anticipate the excitement and avoid disappointment by measuring before!

🐻💦 This attraction is currently under refurbishment until 3/30/2022.

🐻💦 Did you know there are lockers at the entrance you can use for free for the first 2 hours? Stow your phone, purse, jacket...anything you doing want to get wet!

🐻💦 This is such a fun ride, even though you will probably get wet. Wear a poncho, put your stuff in a locker and just ride it!!

🎏☂️Jumpin' Jellyfish

🎏☂️ This is one of the rides you can go on once you reach 40". It's a big milestone, lots of fun when you hit 40".

🎏☂️ This ride goes 40 feet up in the air and allows you spectacular views of the park!

🎏☂️I love riding this even as an adult. I just wish it was longer!

🎏☂️ My height chart will help you know if your kids have reached 40" before you go to the park!

🌲Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in DCA.

🌲This area is a beautifully themed playground. There are walking paths surrounded by magnificent trees with playground areas mixed in.

🌲Mostly it's an area for guests of any age to stroll, climb, jump, sit, slide etc...

🌲However, there are 3 activities that have a height requirement.

1️⃣Cliff Hanger Traverse Rock Climb – Guests must be 42 inches or taller.

2️⃣Hoot n’ Holler Log Slides – Guests must be 32 inches or taller.

3️⃣Sequoia Smokejumpers Training Tower – Guests must be between 42 inches and 63 inches tall. Guests must also be under 13 years of age.

If you haven't explored this area I highly recommend it wether you are visiting with kiddos or not. There are some areas that are full of noisy playing kids and others that are peaceful and quiet.

We've even seen Chip and Dale playing in here before. See my stories for some footage!

These items are not currently listed on our height chart since they aren't considered "rides". But I do have a height chart listing all the rides with height requirements!

There are two rides that have two height requirements at the Disneyland resort.

1️⃣ Autopia in Disneyland
32" if accompanied by another rider who is 54" or taller
54" to ride alone

2️⃣Silly Symphony Swings
40" for the tandem swings
48" for the single swings

I was in the parks this week and was trying to get pics of all the height rulers when I noticed that some of them have some unseen magic!

Look at that horseshoes at the base of The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ruler! Your littles will line their feet up on the horseshoes to get measured!

I'm at Disneyland with my Mom and my son, three generations! It's been so fun!

My house isn't covered head to toe in Disney decor like some people's but I like to sprinkle a little Disney magic in here and there. When I stumbled upon this height chart from I knew I needed to get it! With try versions, one for and one for there are particular height markers for the rides with height requirements.

Not only is it fun to see where my kids measure up in height, but I will never have to bear the brunt of a disappointed child who stood in line only to find out at the front that they aren't tall enough to ride. Now we check before our trips to see if we can add a new ride to our experience but this small fry still has a way to go! Until then we will have to use the rider swap option."

📏 We rope dropped Indy on our last trip and if you've rope dropped anything you know it's an intense experience. You get there early you wait and wait until they open the park and you speed walk to your desired attraction with hope that you don't have to wait in line.

📏A family of 4 was in front of us and their youngest daughter was pulled side to get measured before entering the queue. She wasn't tall enough 🥺 she was sad, the dad was frustrated. The CM was trying to explain rider swap and the whole family just turned around and left, wasting their whole rope drop process. It was heartbreaking.
