During this quarantine, many of us are using Facebook more than ever before. Whether you are checking up on the news, looking at photos of family/friends or checking out new recipes, there are always ways to be safer while browsing. Here are a few tips for keeping yourself safe on Facebook!
1. Go into your security settings and enhance the security features within your account.
2. Only accept Facebook friend requests from people you actually know.
3. Use two-factor authentication for whenever you log into Facebook on a new device.
4. Always make sure to log out of your account when using a shared computer. (it's okay, we all forget sometimes)
5. Don't use duplicate passwords! Use unique passwords for every site and save them on a password manager.
These tips may seem simple, but using them can greatly increase your security while browsing. Stay safe!
Finally... our last team shoutout!
