As you all know, we have been collecting funds for Covid-19 impacted people across India. We have already started work to get essentials to may people. Eid kits that include meat and basic supplies have been sent to the following places
* Haryana (Mewat)
* Delhi (Chatharpur)
* UP (Aligarh, Faridabad, Saharanpur)
* Rohingya camps
SubhanAllah, the people in West Bengal who was already impacted because of Covid, had a double whammy because of the Cyclone Amphan. KMCA now sending emergency relief material to the place.
We request all of you to donate to the Covid-19 fundraiser to help out people who are suffering. This could be the night of Laylatul Qadr and May Allah accept your charity. The money that KMCA raised during the fundraiser event has started being put to use Alhamdulillah.

This Ramadan, KMCA has chosen to raise funds for those affected by COVID-19, in India.

KMCA, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, is partnering with a local organization in India to support the Victims.
Poverty levels have been on the rise, in many districts in India. Hundreds of people are being forced to take to the streets, and living in slums and very unsafe conditions.
Add to that, with the new challenges due to COVID, the situation further worsened for these communities. Thousands of people who were living on minimum daily wages, working in cities hundreds of miles from their hometown villages, are suddenly left with nothing, nowhere to turn to for their basic needs, no way to return to their homes. Hunger-stricken, homeless and famished, people are living in very pathetic situations. It is evident that the lock-down has disproportionately hurt Muslims who are minority in the country- they have lost their livelihood, shelter, security and basic amenities.
KMCA has been partnering with local grassroots organizations based in India, to address the sufferings of these communities. We have decided to raise the amount of $100,000 inshallah
Please support and donate generously. And share this widely. Be part of the solution. We cannot let our brothers and sisters and mothers and fathers and children suffer!
Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.” (Sahih Muslim)

Question: My wife and I purchased a booklet of 15 coupons. We decided to split them amongst ourselves, and also to give our son 2 coupons to play games.
But we came to know the items on the menu. Now we are confused about Which ones to buy?! As the day is approaching, my mouth is watering thinking about all the food. My wife and I are also arguing about the number of coupons each of us gets to use.
What do you suggest?
KMCA’s answer: 😉😀 Totally relatable. That’s the situation in the households of many of our members.
Good news is: most of our volunteers are willing to increase the quantity they will be cooking. (Quality won’t be compromised- we know that for a fact, from the past Food Fests).
Solution we have for you: we will have some extra coupons available at the event as well- only for those who have already purchased their tickets, and are at the event.

In the past, KMCA members have successfully conducted handicraft sales, to donate to orphanages and other charity projects.
People who have purchased these items, and use it in their homes as decor (paintings, frames etc) or personal items such as hats, headbands, jewelry etc, will agree that whenever they see these items in their homes, they feel a special warmth, and are more special than its counterpart regular store- purchased items.
There is a REASON for this!
The buyers KNOW, for a fact, they were made with so much LOVE...and secondly and more importantly, they were purchased for a GOOD CAUSE.
This time, around- the Handicraft team is working to put together a decent stall, so they can donate all proceedings to the Kerala Distress Relief Fund!
