With so much change of every kind happening in the world, let's take some time to focus on positive change. We believe a better world is in reach if we take action every day, together, to create positive impact.
If you haven't checked out the stories we're telling, start here with our teaser. We invite you to be part of a new conversation around the kind of world we can build together - the world that's on the other side of so much that feels challenging.
Sending so much love -- Nathan, and the WCRTW team
weβve been a bit silent lately as we listened, and watched
there is one thing that's clear - we cannot continue on as we have been
itβs time for something new. a new way of inhabiting our world, a new way of interacting with each other and our environment. the old ways are no longer working
weβve watched as black lives have been treated with apathy, callousness, and violence. weβve seen our current political leadership dismantle environmental protections on many levels. and we've all been exposed to the weaknesses in our healthcare and social care systems, leaving so many without support when they need it most
itβs one thing to acknowledge the problems and discuss their causes, and another to seek and create solutions, and it's time for us to move into those solutions
the more we highlight a new vision for our communities and our world, the more momentum we create, and the sooner we find ourselves in a better place
we at π We Can Remake the World π are committed to telling those stories - stories of possibility, focusing on the vision of people who are solving our problems, each in their own way
weβre committed to amplifying voices of every gender, color, orientation, and walk of life, because we believe that it will take each and every one of us contributing what we have to offer if we're truly going to come to a better world βπΏβπΎβπ½βπΌβπ»
β’
join us
be part of this conversation
letβs solve our problems as we seek to understand them, and build a better world together
πππβ¨
β’
ββThe difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the worldβs problems.ββ
we have everything we need to solve every problem we face, if we just believe it

love this story of encouragement about what a huge impact a few of us can have πππβ¨
Key Dives passes milestone 10,000 pounds of debris pulled out of the water, encourages others to follow suit In July 2018, a small but mighty team of divers from Key Dives in Islamorada began bi-weekly clean-up scuba dives. Not quite two years later, theyβve surpassed a major milestone, pulling their 10,000th pound of ocean debris out of the water in early March, before the quarantine shutdowns began. .....
NEW EPISODE!! We are thrilled and honored to share our conversation with meditation teacher Harita Davies of the Sri Chinmoy Centre in New York City.
Harita shares her ideas on meditation and how it can infuse our lives and the world with greater peace. Harita also discusses her successful completion of a 3,100 mile marathon over the course of 52 days, and how even the largest challenges can be overcome.
we have everything we need to create a better world, and it starts with our vision πππβ¨

Our latest episode is up! After some delays and a few much-needed naps as we all adjust to our current "new normal", we are so thrilled to share the story of Eden Gives through our conversation with Kimberly Buffington.
Kim is solving food insecurity in one family at a time, and has big plans for Eden Gives as she lays the foundation for a new urban farm. Kim believes that through food, urban centers can revitalize local communities with job security, increased access to nutritious food, and local partnerships. We're honored to tell her story.

We Can Remake the World β episodes β Feeding Detroit: Eden Gives Kim Buffington is overcoming food insecurity in Detroit by donating fresh food to families in need, and she isn't stopping there. Kim's vision for renewal of food in Detroit includes a new community-based food model incorporating urban farms, local staffs, local products, and higher quality food.
What is one thing we can each do daily to support those around us? A smile, a phone call, a text, a donation. Or maybe a grocery trip, or a helpful hand at the store.
When we focus on others, we often are more able to step outside of our own problems. Let's give ourselves the chance to be the positive point for someone else, and help change little corners of our communities for the better one day at at time.
did you know that coffee cups are not actually recyclable?
ever wonder how your hot coffee or tea doesnβt creep through the paper and burn your hands? thatβs due to plastic, friends
disposable coffee cups are lined with a plastic coating which is extremely difficult to remove. most communities donβt have access to the machine that can separate the layers, so most cups arenβt recycled! this plastic can also leach into our drinks! blech
so (once current events calm and we're all back to our coffee shops) instead of taking your coffee to go in a disposable cup, bring a reusable! and say and to your barista. for you, and for the π
