I recently did a work trip to Ahmedabad, my first time in the city. It was an honour to get selected amongst 21 creators across India for a factory visit of a reputed consumer durables brand.

What made it even more special was the love showered on me by fellow creators, some I met for the first time & others I’ve known for long!

In this competitive world, it helps to stay authentic & still believe in the goodness of people. I strongly feel that if I help others it will only uplift me, not bring me down. I also think there’s space for everyone & we can infact grow together.

I am truly a positive person & appreciating others not only encourages them to work harder but also makes the world around us a better place. So shower your love through your words, gestures, actions (& likes/comments if it has to be virtually 😉)

Recently I attended US Cranberries Trade Seminar for America’s original super fruit - cranberries. It was an insightful session where we learnt that USA is the biggest producer of cranberries & it’s steadily growing in popularity in the Indian market.

This session made me wonder as mothers how can we introduce cranberries to Gen Z who are talking salads but eating fries! The talented chefs, who joined in the session, shared innovative recipes & tempting dishes to creatively introduce the goodness of this particular super fruit in their diet. I can’t wait to try them out too!

I visited The Netherlands this summer.

While one tends to associate it with a vibrant night life and the popular red light district, it has so many different dimensions.

Rich in history, culture, charming landscapes, canals running through cities, it is beautiful. It offers an enhanced tourist experience with its friendly English speaking locals & global cuisine. Loved every bit of it and look forward to covering other parts of the country in future trips too.

On we went by train and road to Sorrento
Smelling the lemons and high on limoncello
Our eyes lit up in the blue grotto caves
Swimming in the magnificent Positano waves
Travelling the charming towns of Capri and Ravello
Went to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius to say hello
With fried pizza in hand, Naples was our last stop
Next time we will come to Milan to shop.

This was an Italian vacation
Rome was our first destination
Known as the eternal city
Churches and fountains so pretty
The Colosseum built back an eon
The sky seen through the pantheon
Admire the beauty of the Sistine chapel
Lost in works of of Michelangelo, Bernini, Raphael
Throw a coin in the Trevi fountain

A straight from my heart…

Written one after a long time. It’s not as perfectly worded as I would have like it to be but hopefully gets the message across to redefine a “complete family”.

What do you think of it?

A heartfelt post to convey something that’s been on my mind.

I value each one of you & am glad to have built my community. But at the same time, much like many others, you see on the gram only parts I want to share which constitute a relatively small part of my life. The moments that don’t make it here are equally precious and reflect daily life at its vigorous best.

I do realize that the only thing constant is change & in the future all this won’t stay as we now know it. But what will stay with me are the true connections that made a real impact in my life. And surely the countless memories I created along the way!

Grateful for all those who genuinely mean well & root for me constantly.

Blessed to have a voice that at times inspires, motivates or simply cheers others.

Thankful to be my own boss & live life on my terms.

Loved our visit to Agra, the city of love.
We enjoyed sightseeing & clicked some super fun & creative pics.

The Taj Mahal is majestic. It’s a monument which appears better when seen live than any picture of it. I was actually speechless when I saw it again this time. The intricate carving & unique detailing is mesmerising.

Sonny boy was drawn into the many stories & history behind all the monuments in Agra and Fatehpuri Sikri.

A wonderful combination of travel, history & heritage - we really enjoyed this holiday!

We hosted the first village event by & loved the response. We got an inspiring group of moms with children ranging from 8 months to 12 years.

We had an engaging discussion about our motherhood journey, fun & interactive games, an expert session by a nutritionist followed by networking over drinks & canapés.

The Founder, had this idea to provide a platform to connect with moms who are in the same boat or have been there or are getting there. An opportunity to network with like-minded women who tell you to normalise imperfections & embrace yourselves for what you are!

We also have experts on board to focus on wellness - physical, mental & emotional. This is relevant for moms of all age groups since there are different challenges at various points in the journey of motherhood.

Suryagarh, Jaisalmer has been on our bucket list of luxury hotels for long. Built like an actual fort, it is majestic with a calming silence around and the starry heavens above. The architecture, design and wall mountings transport you back to the royalty and romance of the desert.

We saw the spellbinding traditions of the Thar resound within their walls and enjoyed the performance of Manganiyars every evening.‍

Their speciality restaurant celebrates the culinary heritage of Marwar. Infused with the aroma of hand pounded spices and ingredients, this multi course thali is indeed a special one.

We also got to try our hand at Archery - As a friendly combat recreational activity. Between 3 of us, sonny boy picked up the technique first. Riding on in-house horse, Badal was fun and could spot peacocks, ducks & other birds around the property. The spa experience was relaxing & rejuvenating.

Loved the stay here & I am not surprised it is a favourite for celebrity weddings.

Amritsar is not just a city but an emotion. The warmth of people, it’s delicious food array & positive vibes, make it special.

We have been visiting Amritsar since we were kids & it’s always fun to be at this home away from home. We enjoy with our cousins and our kids continue to strengthen this bond.

Yesterday, I attended the mega launch of hospital in Gurgaon. It’s the 20th hospital of India’s most preferred women & children’s healthcare chain with state of the art facilities & modern equipment.

The Gurgaon hospital was inaugurated by the lovely Gul rightly said that “Tigresses don’t stop hunting after having a cub. So ladies, please take care of yourselves throughout your life!” This message, to take care of ourselves not just during pregnancy but before & after that too, was a common theme throughout the event.

We interacted with a highly experienced & qualified team of doctors. They patiently answered our questions & suggested great tips focusing on physical, mental & emotional well being.

I’m happy to join hands with Motherhood hospital in their continued commitment to provide comprehensive healthcare to women & children.

Krabi is a family friendly destination with scenic views and breathtaking white sand beaches.

The water is a breathtaking combination of green & blue and the idyllic islands offer a great view of natural rocks, fertile marine life and photogenic vistas. Snorkelling and spending time in the water was refreshing and relaxing.

Would highly recommend you to add Krabi, Phi Phi & the nearby islands to your list. I will add further details on my stories.

Koh Samui was amazing with it’s palm fringed beaches, dense rainforest, luxury resorts and posh spas!

One of the most Beautiful beach destinations, we loved the vibes of the city - chill, relaxed & calm.

Our son got to experience so many fun activities from Snorkeling, Kayaking to riding his own Jet ski!

We managed to squeeze in Island hopping, visit to Angthong national park & a tour of the city too!

A spontaneous family vacation coz we all needed a break!

We chose the latest addition to Leela properties for our weekend getaway -. It was Uber luxurious, comfortable & rejuvenating.

The property is nestled against the majestic backdrop of the Aravali range. You can explore the splendour of Rajputana heritage as it was a palace earlier.

We enjoyed everything from the dining experience to relaxing spa to warm hospitality. Would highly recommend you to choose it for your next stay since it’s in close proximity to delhi.

One of our most memorable trips was to the French riveria, Côte d'Azur. Pics can capture only some part of the grandeur, beauty & luxury of the scenic cities & exotic villages along the coastline.

The pristine Mediterranean waters, fairytale view from medieval villages and waters as blue as the sky make you feel you have been transported back in time.

I highly recommend this experience at least once in your lifetime.
