My heart was so full yesterday with a jam packed day of dynamic speakers to learn all about Jamaica and why you should visit this unbelievable country! There was a crowd of 1000 which included travel advisors, Sandals employees, distinguished government officials (including the Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism), airport workers, taxi drivers and so many vendors with handcrafted gifts!! It was culmination of everyone who makes this country better! It was truly eye opening to hear about all of the wonderful things the government of Jamaica is doing to make everyone feel safe and secure!!

If you have ever met me in person, you know that my heart belongs with Jamaica and I will always return EVERY chance I get! I have to agree with all of the speakers on this point- the PEOPLE of Jamaica are what makes it OUTSTANDING!! I saw that this week and every time I visit! So, don’t believe the hype when they say Jamaica isn’t safe to travel! It’s just simply NOT true! Take it from someone who has been very and over again! I ❤️ JAMAICA!!!

Today was a great day! My teacher heart was filled up!! I experienced some so amazing and I am just in awe that I was honored to be a part of it. I was able to go on a Reading Road Trip through the Sandals Foundation today. I was able to sit, color with and read to a couple of outstanding 6 year olds! I had such a great time and was truly blessed! I was even promoted to “Auntie” by the 2 previous girls I worked with! I was with them for an hour and it warmed my heart right up! If you ever get the opportunity to do this, I HIGHLY recommend it!
