Anchored In Hope Fishing Tournament

‘THANK YOU’ to everyone that came out to the tournament today! The support shown to Macy and her family was nothing short of amazing. It was a windy, but beautiful day with a great turnout of people participating. I didn’t get as many pictures as I would have liked of those on the lake, but I can tell you it never ceases to amaze me of all the generous people thru this event. I also want to send a special, HUGE thanks to Emily, Jeremy, & Makenna Gildersleeve & Molly, Russ, Gus, & Wyatt Jacobitz for spending the day with us. This event has such a deeper meaning as it’s not just helping another family. It’s our past families choosing to come & spend the day helping and supporting the next family who is fighting the same battle. I believe we all have a choice when we hear of something happening to someone. We can either choose to move on and continue our own lives OR we can choose to do something. Every single person who either donates money or silent auction items, participates by fishing, or buys something from it…YOU are choosing to do something! Because of you, we are able to do this and help people in our community and let them know they are not alone in their battle. On behalf of the Moran family we thank you! 💛

Saturday, June 29th at Sherman Reservoir 🎣

FYI: The boat ramp by the Marina is not available to use. You will need to use the ramp across the bay. You will need a park sticker in this area.

☑️ Boat Checks from 7-730am at docks by the Tradewinds Marina

☑️ Check-In and Rules meeting at 730am in front of the Tradewinds Marina

☑️ If you haven’t registered and would like to participate in the tournament you can come and register that morning! $50 per team

☑️ Tournament from 8am - 3pm -
Walleye, Crappie, & Catfish

☑️ Be sure to pack plenty of water, lunches if you want & sunscreen!

☑️ Silent Auction & Raffle from 8am - 345pm with winners announced at 4pm along with winners from the tournament announced.

☑️ We will accept cash, local checks, and cards

We hope to see LOTS of people there to help support Macy and her family as she is battling cancer. Don’t forget to wear your t-shirts if you purchased any or wear a blue shirt to show your support! It looks to be a beautiful day Saturday, 🤞🏼 hoping the forecast stays that way!
