The I-Impact Foundation
I-Impact Initiative is a youth empowerment and impact scheme aimed at maximizing our usefulness to our generation.
Our vision is to inspire and bring out the very best in you, raise exceptional people who will transform their communities.
Strengthen her hands project at Minna 2022.
Once again we were reminded that although we have a goodwill towards everyone, our response to situations needs to be appropriate and done at the right time.
After spending months with these ladies , from the meeting with their leaders, to identifying interested participants, to meeting with PAN association Minna Branch, to having our 5 days training , to the inspection of pens and finally the empowerment program, we’ve indeed built a small community of small-scale poultry farmers. The women couldn’t hide their feelings in display of their appreciation and gratitude to the I-Impact team for equipping them with such skills, assisting in setting up their pens and alleviating their financial struggles.
We will like to express our appreciation to our band of sponsors, the HQ TRADOC NA commander, PAN Chairman, other PAN representatives, the women leaders representatives of the Chanchaga LGA, I-impact volunteers and the beneficiaries of the project. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for being a part of this project.
For I-Impact and so should you!
TRAINING
Last week, our training session with the military wives took place over a period of four days, with a total of 97 women in attendance.
The trainees were introduced to poultry farming and gained vital knowledge and skills especially on how to identify poultry birds, choose and maintain poultry equipments and how to maintain their farms efficiently. They were also taught about the different types of chicken feeds, medications and how to keep farm records, amongst many other things. Our trainees showed keen interest and dedication throughout the program and the positive impact of these sessions were evident after the four days
From today till the 21st of June, these women will be setting up their pens and practicing all they’ve learnt. Clearly their lives and the lives of those around them are about to change for the better. Together we can support the vulnerable in our society.
Together we can impact generations; for I impact and so should you!
________________________
Last week, we met with the women leaders to discuss extensively the challenges and understand how we can achieve a sustainable training and an effective implementation plan. Also, we went ahead to meet with the women as to identify interested participants. 100 of them who had no/little education enrolled for this adult education scheme.
From today, we are starting a 5 day training on poultry farming and due to our limited resources, 50 women were qualified for our training. We are very hopeful that these 50 will benefit from this project and be ready to setup their agro pens.
An average start up capital for a woman is 50,000 naira and we are still sourcing for these funds. The little you can contribute will assist these women to set up their pens, start a poultry farm and register with the association.
For we impact and so should you!
We are collaborating with Poultry Association of Nigeria, Minna Branch to assist these women become more productive and better mothers by equipping them with the basic literacy skills and assist in alleviating their financial struggles.
Join us, support us and contribute to the "Strengthen her hands project" as we make this a realisation at Chanchaga Local government area, Minna Niger State.
For I-Impact and so should you!
As much time as there is, true that we most times find it insufficient that we often forget to devote some of it to the little things that matter.
Here is a reminder to find that time, it may just be the little piece of the puzzle to having a happier life.
Wishing a very happy Woman’s Day to strong, intelligent, talented and simply wonderful women on our lives!
Don’t forget that at I-Impact, we love and appreciate you. 💕💕
'sday
There's something special with everything new, including a new year. A special period like this gives us the time to reassess our progress, achievements, as well as have a critical look at our shortcomings.
It is normal to have failed or fallen short in several areas, but what is not normal is to let that page be the end of you. This equally is the period to look forward with all optimism, to expect a better time for ourselves as individuals.
It is true that tomorrow is built on yesterday but it doesn’t always have to be only the RESULTS of yesterday that shape our tomorrow. The LESSONS of yesterday, lessons from our past failures and setbacks can increasingly structure the tomorrow if you learn from it.
So today, we want to remind you that regardless of your past, whatever it is, your tomorrow is a clean slate and you hold the pen. Therefore, put aside your past errors, your failures, hitches, disappointments and do not let them hold you back. GET ON and CONQUER.
It is an earnest wish from us here at I_impact that as the digits of the new year have rolled up so will you experience an increase and not a decrease in all your endeavors.
Enjoy 2021. 💐
Today we commemorate the birth of a King, our saviour. May this celebration be accompanied with the spirit of joy and reenkindle the lights in our heart and be a source of hope for us and our household.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas from all of us at I_impact.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
It may get hard, you may feel abandoned, you may feel all crumbling down, but just always remember that God's got you. Have a great week ahead. Today on
The ultimate answer, then, to the problem of the pain is a person. It's God himself. .

It is never always that bad. If you position your mindset well enough, you will realize that there is always some good in every situation, even in the worst of them. In the words of a great American Theologian Albert Barnes, “We can always find something to be thankful for, and there may be reasons why we ought to be thankful for even those dispensations which appear dark and frowning”.
In life, we pass through certain stages and situations that sometimes we feel is the worst, sometimes we feel that we are not getting anything right, to the point that we feel God has abandoned us. Being able to see the good in every situation relieves us of our anxieties, or whatever tough times that we may be going through.
“When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings; name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done” - so a hymn reminds us. When you do not get it right, count those you have gotten right and let this be the drive for you to move forward.
When you are not lucky, see the times you have been lucky and move on. Doing this will spark some sort of positivity in your life and not rather a situation of complete failure.
Practicing gratitude is such a powerful thing. It turns negative thoughts and feelings into positive ones, changes how you feel, act and react to life daily. It breeds hope, happiness and a sense of accomplishment. This improves your health, relationships, career, school and every aspect of your life.
Generally, gratitude changes your perspective of life for the good. Develop for yourself today an attitude of gratitude and see the positivity levels in your life rise.

Breathe. You'll be alright. You've been this conscious, uncomfortable, scared and you survived.
These feelings didn't break you, yes they are painful and delivering but eventually, they'll pass. Maybe not immediately but soon.
They are going to fade and you'll look back at this moment and remember how God has always been your anchor.

It is only normal in life to pass through the hard times, the tough times, but always remember, they don't last. IT WILL HEAL. Today on

Obstacles are and will always be a part of the journey. So why stop moving because of some?
Women are generally the foundation upon which the whole society is built upon and that's why it's always needful to celebrate them not just today but everyday of our lives.
Big ups to every Women out there in their different forms as mothers, sisters and wives. You are special and must see your womanhood as strength and not inferiority.

A common saying "the best things in this life are free" but indeed priceless. Check yourself if money can buy all you've got.
Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.
Growth and comfort don't move in the same lane, If you are willing to grow, you must as well realise that there is no growth in the comfort zone.
If there are 100 thirsty people and you have got just one cup of water, what can your cup of water do?
Nothing?
No, your cup of water is enough to quench the thirst of one person. If your resources do not permit you to solve many problems, should your limited resources also stop you from doing the little you can?
This is where Mother Theresa comes to mind for her words “if you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one”. Feeding in this context can represent various needs to be met. Because providing clothes for the naked is feeding, giving time to the lonely is feeding, preaching to an unrepentant fellow is feeding, sharing love is feeding.
A true humanitarian is not measured by the amount of resources he has but his will to promote human welfare. So whatever you do, never loose the will and you may just end up reaching out to many, one human at a time.
Be a humanitarian today!
It’s common knowledge that if you do not get to hear it from right mouth you would be hearing it wrongly.
Amidst alot of problems with teenagers relating to teenage pregnancy, menstrual hygiene and s*xual responsibility, ignorance stands out. So creating awareness and putting more light on these issues was a part of the activities at Idum Mbube; Group discussion.
The Group discussion was held in two groups, boys and girls. The boys were talked to about Sexual Responsibility while the girls on the other hand learnt more about teenage pregnancy highlighting its effects on a girl child, menstrual hygiene and how to best to manage it.
After educating the boys on the risks of predisposal to s*x at this point of their lives, and imploring them to focus on the needful- Education, Success ; several students began making resolutions to focus on their future, and abstain from s*x for the time being.
Remember if one is not hearing it right, one will be doing it wrong. Teach the young generation what is right.
And people keep wondering what activities we really had at Idum Mbube. Well, we weren't going to be keeping that away either.
In a society where where academic excellence and knowledge is not always well appreciated, we needed to make a statement to reiterate it's importance to a student.
And so there was a quiz session to test and improve the general knowledge of the students, at the same time award best performers to encourage them and motivate others to be so.
The quiz session was contested by 5 groups and was made up of questions from Health, basic knowledge, current affairs and spelling bee. This period proved quite an interesting and emotional moment especially for the students.
Winners of the competition were determined by the spelling bee as 2 groups out of 5 were eliminated leaving us with 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions.
All the quiz participants including the members of the audience that answered questions received prizes courtesy of i-impact initiative. The P. T. A chairman personally handed out to the 1st prize winners their prizes.
The students received their prizes with joy and were also encouraged to study more. Of course who wouldn't want to do more after being appreciated? This is what I-impact does!
"As a volunteer, the outreach cost me a lot but that notwithstanding is was a pleasure too. I believe there's divinity in humanity but we can only prove it when we reach out to other people, especially those of lower social status than we; those of poor living standards. Humanity needs humanitarians.. Be one!" - as expressed by oke of our Volunteers.
We didn't do this alone, we did it together with one thing common - love for humanity. Regardless of the difficulties and problems, our Volunteers made sacrifices for this dream to come through.
It was a great time working as a team and may God not look away from your true sacrifices. You are very much appreciated.
You can join our team also and contribute your best to this cause.
We couldn't have done it without you guys!
You truly Impact!
Heath Promotion Campaign at Idum-Mbube 2019.
True goodwill will never go unappreciated. They will always find their ways of returning back to you, be it immediately or after a long time.
This is what the entire community of Idum-Mbube once more reiterated for our service to their community.
As already anticipated, 12th of July 2019 is a day that won't be forgotten for a time to come in the community of Idum-Mbube of Ogoja Local Government in Cross River state. The town is best described a remote village where sub-standard medical facilities, inadequate access to good water and drought in supply of electricity is common knowledge. What happens in the Community Secondary School – our point of impact is of course no different from the community.
Students of the school are limited to just well water as their source of water and what the ladies go through during their menstrual periods is “better left unsaid”- as described by a volunteer. It thus was clear that our mission was not only man designed but divine.
What was done?
In fulfillment of our mission and to help out, hygiene items including toothpastes, toothbrushes, inner wears for the boys, sanitary pads for the girls were distributed to all the students. Academic materials were not left out too as all the students became owners of new books, pens and pencils. Water filters were made available to augment their well water supply. Health talks and counseling were held on various topics too.
The community residents didn’t hide their feelings in display of their appreciation and gratitude to the team for their work at all, as they were hosted to numerous treats by various families and individuals and were even treated to free services in the town.
There is indeed joy in being the reason why someone has a reason to smile, and that was the joy I-impact felt for the over 260 smiles on the faces of Idum-Mbube students.
We will like to in-turn express our appreciation to our band of sponsors. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for being a part of this mission.
For I-impact and so should you!
