Diary of a stay at home mum

This is what motherhood looks like.

No it’s not the eye bags.
No it’s not the messy living room.
No it’s not the laundry that needed folding.
No it’s not the fact that you are sitting on the floor because the couch is taken by the laundry.
No it’s not the cold coffee on the dining table.
No none of that at all.

It is that little human sleeping soundly on you despite the chaos around you. She’s sleeping because she can feel your heartbeat. She can feel YOU are there. And that is all that matters to her. And that is what should really matter to us mamas as well. ♥️

LEGO

A lot of people are ok with their LEGOs all mixed in one big tub for imaginative and creative play.

But for me, i organize my kids LEGOs this way. By sets. If I wanted them to do creative play then I’ll get the Classic sets and the Think sets.

For the other themed sets, I organize them by set. So it’s being built and played as it was meant to be.

True story. 😂
