Today's Favorite Food Friday is Pork! Pork is the culinary name for the meat of a domestic pig. It is the most commonly consumed meat worldwide, with evidence of pig husbandry dating back to 5000 BC. Pork is eaten both freshly cooked and preserved. Curing extends the shelf life of the pork products.
And when I am alone
Oh, and when I am alone
And when I am alone, give me Jesus
And when I come to die
Oh, and when I come to die
And when I come to die, give me Jesus
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
We will get through this together!
Today's Favorite Food Friday is all about Parmesan Cheese. The Parmigiano Reggiano or Parmesan cheese as it is called in English is considered to be among the top cheeses by cheese connoisseurs. Today, it is produced by various producers. However, PDO designation states that for a cheese to be called as Parmesan, it has to be produced from cows grazing on fresh grass and hay.
Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is named after the provinces in which it is made, namely Provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna and Mantua.
Hope. A feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Released from my chains I'm a prisoner no more
My shame was a ransom He faithfully bore
He cancelled my debt and He called me His friend
When death was arrested and my life began
May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace!
He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.
On Good Friday we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins (1 John 1:10). It is followed by Easter, the glorious celebration of the day Jesus was raised from the dead, heralding his victory over sin and death and pointing ahead to a future resurrection for all who are united to him by faith (Romans 6:5).

Today's Favorite Food Friday post is all about Fettuccine Alfredo! Alfredo Sauce is a rich and creamy sauce that blends butter, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese and pairs well with a thick pasta like Fettuccine. Toss in a protein like chicken or fish, pair it with a Cesar salad, and you have a great dinner that sticks to your ribs! What is your favorite Alfredo dish? Was it made at home or in a restaurant? https://buff.ly/2JDnwjL
To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe Fettuccine pasta tastes its best when served in a rich, creamy Parmesan cheese sauce made with real cream and butter.
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
What hard thing are you currently going through? In the midst of your suffering, cling to Jeremiah 29:11, but cling to it for the right reason: not in the false hope that God will take away your suffering, but in the true, gospel confidence that he will give you hope in the midst of it.
Philippians 4:10–20 describes how Christians can overcome worry and worldly desires, regardless of their circumstances. By making a purposeful decision to be content, a believer can trust God to provide our true needs, and not be consumed with materialism or anxiety. Paul has learned this skill through his many trials and ministry experiences.
Today's Favorite Food Friday: The Bagel! A bagel is a bread product originating in the Jewish communities of Poland. It is traditionally shaped by hand into the form of a ring from yeasted wheat dough, roughly hand-sized, that is first boiled for a short time in water and then baked. The result is a dense, chewy, doughy interior with a browned and sometimes crisp exterior. Bagels are often topped with seeds baked on the outer crust, with the traditional ones being poppy or sesame seeds.
Though the origins of bagels are somewhat obscure, it is known that they were widely consumed by Ashkenazi Jews from the 17th century. The first known mention of the bagel, in 1610, was in Jewish community ordinances in Kraków, Poland.
Bagels first made their appearance in the United States in the later part of the 19th century, and we are so glad that they did! What is your favorite type of bagel?
