Emily's Fabulous Jewellery Store

Hooray!! We finally Got there!!! Yesterday we delivered our suitcase load of toys and $1200 worth of Vouchers to the Kate Hill Ward in the Women's and Childrens Hospital!!

Emily was stoked to be greeted by some of her favourite Nurses who took care of her during her stays, as well as the wonderful play therapist Linda who did an amazing job keeping our girl, busy and having fun in hospital. And of course Matt the ward Manager whom went above and beyond to make Em smile. We have been so blessed to experience the amazing care from all of them. And we hope we are able to help put smiles on faces of other children requiring care in Hospital.

Thankyou to each and every one of you who contributed, encouraged and supported Emily with her little Jewellery store. We are so humbled to have had you all help Our Girl with achieving such a huge goal. So much love and gratitude for you all.

But wait there's more..... Em's Jewellery making journey hasn't stopped here.. we are currently in production of another 100 bracelets to be added to gift boxes for children for Christmas. Who would have thought a little idea in hospital could bring so much joy and spread so much love to others. Its been an incredible adventure. 😁😁😁

Hello there!. Been a long time between posts. Its been busy times for our little Jewellery maker but not a lot of Jewelleryhas been made lately. Emily has almost finished her first semester of schooling, she has joined NetSetGo at our local Netball club and she is absolutely thriving. We are awaiting the big 6 month post op checks next month but we are so confident She's doing great. A couple of weeks ago she even got to form a guard of honor, high five a few players and have a run on court at half time in a Thunderbirds netball final with her team. So so exciting for our little superstar. 😁 We also haven't managed to get to the hospital to meet up with the wonder staff and play therapists to hand over all our donations yet, as the couple of times we've gone to go we've had to cancel due to Em getting sick. So it's coming and we'll let you all know how that goes. Thanks for everyone who's been checking in to see how Emily is going. We truly appreciate you all. Xoxox

Still finding time to get her creative on with her Jewellery making. We arrived at her appointment on Wednesday early so while we waiting in the car she got creating a special bracelet for her Neurosurgeon. 🥰 It was tricky without our tools of the trade but she still managed to pull off another Fabulous creation.

Yesterday we sent out a special bracelet to a fellow neurosurgery champ who just celebrated 10 years since their big op. Emily decided they deserved a brave bracelet just like the one she made for herself as a reminder how brave she is and how brave she can be when she needs to be ❤

She even beads in the car while her sisters are at netball training 🤣

This is a flashback photo to the day of Emily's second major neurosurgery operation in her 5 years of life. The surgery that Emily was recovering from when Emily's Fabulous Jewellery Store was born 😜 She has been, and continues to be such an amazingly strong resilient little girl. Her smile is infectious and she has an amazing energy about her. Our Creative girl decided she didn't have enough of each bead to make a pattern so she grouped them into colours and made bracelets. We really love how effective they look.. what do you think?? 😜

We have been in contact with the play therapist at WCH and are in the process of organising a time to hand over all of the wonderful kind and very generous donations. We are so far sitting at almost $750 in donations, which we could never have imagined possible just from Emily's fabulous jewellery. But you've all blown our minds and touched our hearts with your support. Emily and her big sisters reckon we should have a goal of $1000 to take into the hospital. That would be $1000 that goes 100% directly to supplying gifts and activities to help bring joy to children in hospital. Its offical today, we have raised over $500!!... yep FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS, to donate to provide gifts for children in the Womens and Childrens Hospital! And it has only been open for a couple of weeks. 😲

You are all amazing! We are so grateful!! Please keep the orders coming... its keeping our Emily super busy and bringing her so much joy. And we cannot wait to give back for all the amazing things Emily was able to experience and enjoy while she was in hospital. ❤

It's been a bit quiet on the jewellery making front this week. Between appointments, mornings at school and Em being a little under the weather, there hasn't been as much creating this week. But its great to see the inspiration back today. 😁
