The family of Reedley High School graduate Malachi Rios has announced he has died after a battle with cancer. Malachi was diagnosed in late 2022 with stage four testicular cancer that spread throughout his body. He went into remission last May before the tumors returned a few months later. Malachi went to Mexico in April for holistic treatments. The following month, the football player and prom king was able to walk across the graduation stage in May to celebrate his and his fellow classmates' achievements.
