While we labor furiously over the next several months to complete our debut album, 'Whispers Between Worlds', the band will be posting periodic teaser videos to keep you appraised of the goings on in the EchoVerse. In part one, we find Doug Bowers and Rob Perez showcasing an introductory salvo of solos.

Lest we not forget, EchoVerse was born from the ashes of Ascher. Their sole album received many wonderful accolades including a spot in 'Six New Prog Tracks You Must hear this Week' from Loudersound.com. This piece was culled from a song that appears on the album. Rob Perez, our guitarist, solo'd all over the instrumental track before he realized that the song contained poignant lyrics penned by Doug Bowers. The guitar tracks were so amazing, that we included this instrumental track as a bonus.

Yesterday’s tete a tete between Kyle F. and Doug revealed a mutual disliking of the long fade at the end of our twenty-nine minute epic. It was deemed lame. Doug undertook a rewrite today which pushed the piece over the thirty minute mark. Win-win!

The track was mixed by renowned producer Rich Mouser, noted for his collaborations with bands like Weezer, Spock’s Beard, and Dream Theater. The music video, inspired by the iconic Yellow Submarine film, was directed by Christian Rios, a prominent name in the Prog Rock scene, known for his work with Neal Morse Band, Flying Colors, and Jethro Tull.
