And last but not least is our President and Vice President!

Sarah Hartenstein is the President for this year's student board. Sarah is a marketing major with a minor in event management and plans to graduate in December. She is most excited to help the team grow and provide the opportunity for students to connect with each other and alumni. Sarah’s favorite part of Doster is the relationships you build and the opportunities to step out of your comfort zone.

Mikaela Bretz is our Vice President and Senior Logistics chair for the board this year. Mikaela is an Industrial Management major with a focus on data analytics. Her favorite part of being on the board is the impact she can make on young students. She says “so often freshmen and sophomore students are told they’re too young to be a leader. Doster believes that anyone can be a leader and we are here to provide those opportunities to develop those leadership skills we know they already have.”

Next up is our Logistics Committee!

Ava Hook is our junior logistics chair for the 2021 fall leadership conference. Ava is a finance major with a concentration in data analytics. Her favorite part about being on the student board is her ability to have a major impact on setting a tone for Krannert’s freshmen and sophomores’ college careers and their potential for success. DLC instilled incredible confidence in Ava during her freshman year that she has the ability to achieve great things and is looking forward to having the opportunity to instill that same confidence in others.

Cortney Martin is our programming chair for the 2021 fall leadership conference. Cortney is a general management major with a concentration in finance. Her favorite part about being on the student board is getting to reflect on past conferences and figure out how to make the greatest impact on younger students. When she attended DLC in person in 2019 it was a great experience getting to network with other students, team leaders, and business professionals. She is excited for the fall conference and the impact it will have on the attendees.

Next Up is our Marketing Committee!

Mahak Bandi is the chair of Diversity & Recruiting this year and works with the Marketing & Communications team. Her favorite part of being on the board is being able to make an impact in her community by putting on a conference to help younger students develop their leadership styles and skills.

Sahith Tummala is Marketing Chair for this year’s student board. Sahith is a Marketing major with a concentration in Data Analytics, and Certificates in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Applications in Data Science. Sahith’s favorite part of DLC is providing the opportunity for Krannert students to network with alumni and meet other students.

Chloe Shaw is the Marketing Co-Chair for this year's student board. Chloe is a Marketing major, and an incoming Junior set to graduate in 2023. Chloe's favorite part of DLC has been growing her strengths as a leader while also connecting with her peers.

Introducing Our 2021 Exec Team! Starting of is our finance committee.

Nick Schurter is the Corporate Fundraising for this year's student board. He is most excited to continue to develop relationships with company representatives and connect them to Krannert students through DLC. Nick’s favorite part of Doster is the building relationships with Krannert students and the opportunity to grow as a leader in a Krannert Organization.

Hunain Rana is the Finance Co-Chair. He plans to work in an accounting firm for a while after graduation, then get his master's degree (Accounting) and CPA License.

Grace Rich is the chair of individual fundraising. Her favorite part about being on the board is helping students find their voice as a leader. Once they realize their leadership strengths and weaknesses, they can cultivate their leadership skills well during their time at Purdue.

This past weekend we hosted our first virtual conference! While some things were different, the energy and growth were still the same. Thank you to all who participated, spoke, and donated. Without all your help the Doster Leadership Conference would not have been successful!

The Doster Leadership Conference is a 2-day event catered to Freshman and Sophomore Krannert students who are looking to develop themselves professionally. The best part of the conference is that it is free to all students. We, as a board, believe that providing the opportunity to grow should be accessible to everyone.
