Today is and Your Gift for Men and Boys is Doubled! https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/cafe-ccmf/

CAFE was the leading voice calling to include boys and men in the National Inquiry Into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Despite unrelenting attack, with your support, we stood firm.

And now a major breakthrough. Following an alarming report into tragic su***de and homicide deaths of Indigenous boys, the Government of Alberta will expand critical services for male youth!

Finally a government agency has the courage to call for resources for male youth. This is our chance to step up. And we're asking for your partnership.

Each day, the Canadian Centre for Men and Families works to provide essential services to boys and men. We receive an overwhelming number of calls. Yet just when needed most, our revenues are suffering. That means we lack the resources to fully respond.

Your charitable gift matched dollar for dollar. On Giving Tuesday, thank you for your courage in joining with us to to speak up for men and boys.

On International Men's Day, please support the Canadian Association for Equality, Canada's most effective champion for boys, men and fathers. And help us keep open the first Family Shelter for Men and Children.

Visit https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/cafe-ccmf/ to make a tax deductible charitable donation.

Today your donation to boys and men is doubled. Monthly gifts are matched six times over. Celebrate International Men's Day by renewing your support so we can open more Centres and Shelters for men and families.

2021 marks the 10 Year anniversary of the Canadian Association for Equality and the Canadian Centres for Men and Families. Here is a recap of what we've accomplished, with your support:

* We opened the very first Family Shelter for abused men and children, which has welcomed over 25 resident families to date!
* We co-produced the 2019 documentary Erasing Family, released to critical acclaim
* We received intervenor status in the Supreme Court case R v Langan, and argued before the highest court that male stereotypes can lead to wrongful convictions
* We completed a federal government funded research project, "Studying Male Homelessness as a Consequence of Domestic Violence."
* We host the annual event MOMENTUM: The Canadian National Men's Issues Conference, the largest gathering of its kind in Canada
* We ran three billboard awareness campaigns, focusing on su***de prevention and parental alienation
* We operate first-of-their-kind Canadian Centres for Men and Families in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, St. Thomas and York Region - and we are on track to open a Centre in Vancouver.

On International Men's Day, help us build on this momentum. Let's make the next 10 years even more impactful for the men and families that are counting on us.

Thank you for your leadership in joining with us on behalf of men and boys!
