There’s one period you shouldn’t need to worry about when you’re at school because sanitary products aren’t luxuries - they’re a necessity.
That’s why, if we’re re-elected, we’re going to partner with Share the Dignity to provide free tampons and pads at 120 Queensland schools.
All schools can register for the program with priority given to the schools most in need.
Plus, all Queensland schools will be able to access the Period Talk education program and resources.

For tens of thousands of distressed kids who don’t have easy access to fresh underwear or who find themselves uncomfortably out of luck after an untimely accident—Undies for Everyone exists. Can you imagine being stuck with dirty un**es with no way to wash them or get new ones? Can you imagine being in school feeling uncomfortable knowing that you may have an odor because you don’t have clean underwear? Or that you have your period and may or may not be able to afford supplies to manage it? That’s where The Clean Drawers Project comes in: we are collecting donations of clean, new underwear for both males and females plus menstruation supplies.
With the donations received we will supply those students in need with a discreet pouch containing a 5 day supply of clean new underwear, or a discreet pouch containing underwear and menstruation supplies.
