Once, the Lie and the Truth decided to bathe together in a well. The Lie said the water was nice, and the Truth, after checking, agreed. So, they undressed and went into the water.

But as they bathed, the Lie suddenly jumped out, put on the Truth’s clothes, and ran off. Furious, the Truth climbed out of the well to get her clothes back.

When people saw the naked Truth, they turned away angrily. Ashamed and hurt, the Truth returned to the well and disappeared forever.

Since then, the Lie has dressed up as the Truth and travels the world freely. People seem happy with the Lie because they don’t want to face the naked Truth.

I had a scary experience at Target yesterday when getting my prescriptions. Just need this off my chest.

One of the CVS cashiers was apologizing to a customer and explaining that their system was temporarily down. He (the customer) became quite passive-aggressive (and as he spoke he became visibly madder and madder.)

He told her "you should be ashamed of yourself for being so useless" and then went to speak to a pharmacist. He then started yelling at her and continued getting louder and louder. I was told I had to wait because she wanted to speak to me about one of my scripts to tell me something she didn't realize I knew). Another woman who works at the front (who I think is a manager and who, IMO, is nice to everybody) got pi**ed off and told him they had his Rx at a different pharmacy. He walked off saying something else mean spirited and she said (under her breath but loud enough to hear) "FU." This sent him into a rage and the other pharmacist asked him to back away and told him she felt threatened by him. I didn't blame her - hell, I felt threatened by him too! I wanted to get away from the situation so badly - made me nauseous and brought a migraine back that I had earlier in the day. I keep expecting a physical attack! Thankfully security came and recorded him out.

Phew - I really really needed to let that out. I feel so bad fo the people working at that CVS. I don't love CVS but they are nice folks over there. Didn't deserve that kind of treatment.
