Swansea - "An Ugly Lovely Town"

"Our" City Centre.

I've always loved Swansea.

I'm moved to Wales over 20 years ago, I settled my family in a small town in Carmarthenshire, visiting Swansea most weeks; whether it be for work or pleasure.

I was always told, much to my annoyance; "Swansea's a dump, it's a s**thole mate" or "you don't wanna go there, it's rough as"

I however found quite the opposite. Although I still live, in the same small town in Carmarthenshire; I get the same, welcoming feeling when I visit Swansea, when I walk around, I feel welcome, I feel the cities heart... I watch the locals go about their daily business, and see people who I know have lived in Swansea for years and have seen it all.

I started this page, to show the City - "Warts n all". I want to show the ugly beauty for which we call Swansea, the city we love.
