It is a new year and we are all motivated, charged to writing new goals and setting new targets. That's great. However, lets make sure we write the goals and become committed to it, be determined in achieving those goals. Unlike the previous year, don't only be motivated only by the first few days and weeks to give up. Keep those goals and target close to you that every time you wake up, you are seeing it and getting motivated.

2024 must be greater and the best year we will witness, more scholarship opportunities, more wins and testimonies to be shared on this platform.

Set those goals and be determined. By the end of the month, always make yourself accountable to see if you have achieved your goal or not.

If you see that you mind loose focus, find some accountable that you can trust and tell him or her what you have planned to achieve and how far you have come, this is a proven method that can help as a student.

Good morning icanites.

About the result on the essay competition, we understand that most of us are patiently waiting for the winners to be announced as promised on the 18th of December. We are sorry for the delay as a result of marking still going on as the markers has one or two to sort out for their personal growth.

We have received mails asking when they should expect the results. As promised, we shall do that but we are pleading for few days before 25th of December.

The winners will be announced and the names published.

Also, we would like to correct the thoughts of some people who are categorically stating that they are sure, they will win. We had several submissions and no ones is being favoured in the process of marking, let the judge decides.

It was a competitive exercise with the remark given to us by the marker, so let exercise patience. We will surely announce before 25th of December with details about the competition.
