Imambargah Yasrab DHA

1. Giving education and teaching righteousness is one aspect of the duty of Prophets. But a stage comes when the Prophet must address the center of Power.
(For e.g Musa being told to go to confront Firoun)

2. The result of the above is a power struggle and a war between Haq and Batil. Allah loves this struggle because it is through this that a System based on justice is established.

3. The ultimate purpose of Prophets is to establish a just system in the society. Verse:

Surah Al-Hadid, Verse 25:

Certainly We sent Our apostles with clear arguments, and sent down with them the Book and the balance that men may conduct themselves with equity; and We have made the iron, wherein is great violence and advantages to men, and that Allah may know who helps Him and His apostles in the secret; surely Allah is Strong, Mighty.

4. It is not practical and logical that the power remains in the hands of oppressive powers like Firoun, and Allah's representative just preaches and uplifts people academically alone.

5. Hadees from Usool e Kafi

Just like a Faqih has authority in jurisprudence he has an authority in judicial matters.
In matters of dispute we must refer to the Faqih just like we refer to them for Fiqhee issues.

Imam Sadiq was asked the following question:
Can we go to the judges made by oppressive governmental systems to resolve our disputes. Is this halal or Haram?

The Imam said: Those who go to them for their problems...whether they are on Haq or Batil..it's like going to Taghoo/Evil.
Whatever the decree may be, even if the applicant is on the right and the decree is in his favor..it's forbidden for him.
Because a believer is supposed to reject Taghoot. Resorting to Taghoot seeking its decision is implies we hold them legitimate.
The same is reflected in a Quranic verse.

Surah An-Nisa, Verse 60:

Have you not seen those who assert that they believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They desire to summon one another to the judgment of the Shaitan, though they were commanded to deny him, and the Shaitan desires to lead them astray into a remote error.

6. When Imam was asked for an alternative

Imam said you will find amongst yourself those who narrate our hadees to you. They have Halal and Haram in sight, have marifat of our Ahkam:
So Settle on their decree and decision because I appoint them as a Hakim on you on my behalf. Those who disobey are like as if they reject us and reject Allah. And this results in shirk.

Verse:
Surah An-Nisa, Verse 65:

But no! by your Lord! they do not believe (in reality) until they make you a judge of that which has become a matter of disagreement among them, and then do not find any straitness in their hearts as to what you have decided and submit with entire submission.

7. The judicial status of Prophet, is given to Ahlulbait and then to their representativs as per Ahadees.

6. Real Arbitration can be done by someone who has power and authority. Which is Wilayat.
A Faqih has this.

7. Imam Ali considered rulership very insignificant and compared it to be as disgusting for him as a goat's sneeze and a torn tattered slipper.
But still he gave a sermon (Shak'shakya) when his right of becoming the head of state was snatched .

One point which he raised in this sermon (crux):

Had it not been for Allah's order that the Ulema must make oppressors accountable and Not Remain Silent on the powerful usurping rights resulting in the poor to be starved, I would have left the reigns of Caliphate on its back and let it wander away to wherever it wished to go.

8. This order for Ulema taking charge is not for Imams only. Its for Ulema at large.

9. Establishment of a just system is mentioned in the Quran at several occasions

Crux of one verse in Surah Noor:

_Those who do good and believe will be made caliphs on Earth and be given power and will be granted peace after fright._

10. Can the Fasiq, Jabir, Zalim be allowed to do whatever they like, usurp rights, oppress people till Imam comes? and we do nothing but pray for the Imam to come?

11. Scholars like Imam Khomeini said Islam did not just come for 15 years. Wherever it is possible to prevent the Oppressive Arrogant Powers; We must take charge of our desitnies..we must do it.. rise to establish Allah's laws on land.

12. It is a pitty that we have to explain the grandeur of the Institution of Rehbari to shias... Whereas others look at it with awe, Shias are still in doubts.

13. We should feel lucky we have the institution of Ijtehad. Others have to go back to scholars of 7th century to find out solutions to problems of 21st century..

Which of course they cant have..such as organ transplantation is a modern day problem.. A 7th century Scholar can't even comprehend it.

14. Our Marje'ayat is not confined to books. They are practical people. Rehbariyat is on ground providing leadership, not bowing down to oppressors and arrogant powers, countered terrorism of ISIS etc. Had it not been for the Rehbari of the Fuqaha, we would be witnessing Youm e Inhedaam of shrines of Bibi Zainab and Imam Hussain as well.

15. In the past 40 years of the Islamic revolution, more knowledge has been given to the world than was given out in 1000 years.

16. Sheikh zakzkay a student of Qum, introduced Shia'ism to more than 2 corore people in Nigeria.

17. It is only Shia'ism that has a systematic mechanism of leadership. We do not get accidental leaders.

18. This is a journey . The final destination is Imam Mahdi. Such Existing leaders will all embrace the Imam and submit to him upon his Zuhoor.

19. This is the manifestation of Wilayat announced at Ghadeer.

20. It were Khawarij that rejected the concept of governance saying La Hukman illa Lilah. Imam Ali countered and said all societies require a leader whether good or bad. A head-less society will face anarchy.

21. Imam Hussain in Khutba e Mina said to Sahaba and Taba'eyeen:

In a society implementation of law should be at the hands of Ulema.

The Imam said you Ulema are the dignitaries of the society...keep your eyes open. You have a responsibility . Are you not seeing that Haq is not being followed and Batil is not being stopped from?

22. The reason why Ayyema Ahlulbait were killed and imprisoned... was not their individuaistic Fazaayel such as knowledge, bravery, generosity... but because the enemies knew that they would struggle to establish their rule in the slightest opportunity they got.
The enemies knew they just need the support of the Ummah to establish Allah's laws on land.

*Affects of Eeman*

29th August 2021
20th Muharram
Imambargah Jafar e Tayyar

1. People will wish to be sent back to life on earth to perform noble deeds which they had the opportunity to perform yet they didn't. Allah says in Quran this won't ever be allowed.

2. Agha Behjat says let alone Yaqeen; Even if there is doubt that there is a day of Judgement, than this doubt alone is sufficient to remove the smile of a person.

3. Surah Anfaal, Verse 2 to 4.

Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 2:

Those only are believers whose hearts become full of fear when Allah is mentioned, and when His communications are recited to them they increase them in faith, and in their Lord do they trust.

Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 3:
الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

Those who keep up prayer and spend (benevolently) out of what We have given them.

Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 4:

These are the believers in truth; they shall have from their Lord exalted grades and forgiveness and an honorable sustenance.

Explanation :

Innama = Only and Only

This verse describes who are true believers and what do they achieve.

Only and Only those are Believers who
i. When Allah is mentioned their hearts become soft and attentive
ii. When Verses are recited, their Faith increases
iii. They completely relie on Allah

These 3 pertain to the belief / Internal conditions of a Believer

External Effects:
iv. They establish prayers
v. They spend in the way of Allah

These are the TRUE BELIEVER. The Real Believers.

They get 3 Rewards from Allah.

i. High Ranks
ii. Forgiveness
iii. Noble Rizq.

4. Imam ALI says success is which Allah calls success.

5. Allah dislikes that we do not have our own economic system, educational system:

We are sent in the World not to be cut off from it. But to compete (Ref Surah Waqiyah).
This competition results in 3 groups

i. The Right Side
II the Left Side ones
Iii. The ones who take the lead.

We must be in either the right side ones or even better: those who lead, who are on the top.

We are born in Pakistan : even we have a role to play. Nations like Iran Lebanon have progressed. We due to our flaws are left behind.

Sabiqoon are present today too. Sheikh Zakzaky of Nigeria is a shining bright example. Who took the lead in Nigeria and introduced the school of Ahlulbait to more than 2 corore people.

6. Follow those who follow Fuqaha. Not those who have not even read 2 books and come to exain what Wilayat is.

7. The meaning of Wajilat in verse 2 of Surah Anfal in Tafseer e Namoona, by Ayatullah Nasir Makrim Shirazi

Wajilat is the 1st attribute of Believers

2 types of fears

I. Where one feels he hasn't fulfilled his responsibilities correctly.
II. Where one recognizes the grandeur and magnificence of something, his heart is filled with Awe.

When we hear Allah o Akbar, do our hearts quiver with awe? Allah o Akbar is Zikr of Allah.

A momin can not possibly remain in the same State as he was before hearing the Azan.

8. The verse says the faith increases, upon listening to Quranic verses. This suggests that our faith must progress not remain idle.

It also hints that Eeman can even decrease. We must beware that this does not happen.

9. Imam Ali said a believer recites atleast 50 verses in a day.

10. We recite so much Quran in Ramadan let's Ask ourselves sincerely, does the Recitation of verses increase our Eeman. If not, then 2 things are possible :

I. The verse saying our Eeman should increase is incorrect
Or
II. Recitation is not done the way it was required.

11.
Third effect that faith grants a believer is that he relys completely on Allah.

This doesn't mean that a believer won't make use of available resources to fulfill his responsibilities and just say he is relying on Allah.

12.
Spending in the way of Allah doesn't only pertain to money. It includes sharing skills. Imam Ali dug several wells because he knew there were several people who didn't have the strength to do it for themselves.

13. The real momineen have high ranks in the eyes of Allah. For them Jannat is smaller. Imam Ali advised that Jannat should be the Smallest Price for a momin to sell his soul. Highest is Allah's pleasure (Reza)

14. Rizq un Kareem: Is a Special Spiritual Rizq.
We are blessed with a special Rizq in this world, this Rizq is Tears for Hussain, which comes from the Arsh e Elahi.
Imam Hussain delivers Rizq e Kareem from the heavens and distribute it on Earth.

15. The figure 40 is of significance in Islam. Agha Bajjat says to purify yourself for 40 days before Muharram to be blessed with Rizq e Kareem.

This Rizq is Kareem allows you to do what Ambya have done: commemorating Hussain.

How can we show gratitude for this Rizq e Kareem? For shedding tears for the same thing Ambya shedded their tears. This is a huge honor and blessing.

Majlis # 5
3rd Safar
11th September 2021
Imambargah Yasrab DHA

1. Wilayat has 2 dimneisons : Guardianship and Authority (more than one has over themselves)

Prophets have a great right over people, than they have over themselves. This is mentioned in Quran.
The Prophet passed on the same to Imam Ali (as). And this passed on to all Masoomeen.

2. This Wilayat is of 2 types.
Wilayat e Taqweeni and Wilayat e Tashreehi.

I. Wilayat e Taqweeni:
Allah has granted Prophets and Ayyema certain powers which other people do not have. Such as performing a miracle. This Wilayat can not be transfered to anyone else or shared with anyone regardless of how pious they may be. This is exclusive for The Prophets and Ayyema...

II. Wilayat e Tashreehi:
This pertains to Sharyat. The powers given to the Prophet and Ayyema, which are necessary to discharge responsibilities on their shoulders: explaining, propagating, protecting and establishing Religion and its values.

In Wilayat e Tashreehi: Nabi and Ayemma are authorized to share power with others, establish their own network, and appoint representatives.

These works are extended in scope and need physical efforts/not miracles. Hence in this Ayyema made use of their companions, students, supporters etc to assist them in their job.

3. In Surah Ambya, a verse mentions Ask (Ahlul Zikr) those who know- if you don't.
This verse was addressed to Ahlul Kitab: Jews.

4. It was materialistic/worldly desires that prevented the Christians at Mubahila to not accept Islam even when it was clear upon them that Rasool Allah and his Ahlulbait were right in their claim.

5. Ahlul Zikr are those who remind people of their duty towards Allah.
Ulema of each community are Ahle Zikr.
And Ahlulbait are the biggest Ulema.

Hadees of Ayyema
"We are Ulema and our Shias are Seekers of Knowledge"

6. The Ahlul Zikr, who are accessible must be approached for solutions to our problems. If the Imams are accessible, they should be approached. But in their absence: Their representatives.

Imam Sadiq in his lifetime, in his presence, recommended people to resort to his representatives and Faqih of that time... This is how people living far away benefited from The Imam. Through non Masoom reps.

7. Sheikh Sudooq quotes in book Ikmal ud Deen wa Itmam un Naimah:
A Tauqeeh/ Letter of Imam Mahdi
Crux as under:

When faced with difficult/changing circumstances... Resort/Revert to those who narrate our Hadees. Such people are Hujjat on you from our side. And we are Allah's Hujjat upon all.

(These are not anyone who narrate or compile Ahadees.. but here it is the Faqih who narrates authentic verified Ahadees) .

8. Alot of tampering has been done with Ahadees literature.

Imam Ali said
"In 25 years, these people have flipped the dress of Islam inside out".

Israeelyaat: some Jews pretended to be Muslims just to tamper our Hadees Books and include fake sayings in our books. (both Shia and Sunni face this issue)

9. Sorting and Sifting Ahadees will also result in academic differences. Which is not a problem. Tafraqa/Sectarianism is a problem.

Ethics of Disagreements should be learnt.

Academic Differences are a prominent feature and glory of our Hawza e Ilmia. It keeps alive research and prevents a dead mujahid to be followed.

10. Religion has come to us with great difficulty. Great sacrifices were involved.
Quoted from Imam Hussain:
"If my blood is required to safeguard Islam, then Oh Swords come attack me"

Why would Imam Hussain sacrifice himself, his children, his sister's parda for safeguarding religion... but me and you be allowed to be careless of religion and its values.
Religion is most valuable and requires us to be serious about it.

Topic:
Affects of Eeman

28th August 2021
19th Muharram
Imambargah Jafar e Tayyar

1. Shaheed Murthudha Muttahari
Adab e Dua: Duas Should not only be demands of getting more things. Duas should sometimes also include asking Allah to take certain things from you. For eg. Take away ungratefulness, take away hatred.

2. Another Affect of Eeman is it takes away the fear of loneliness /depression/fright from a believer.

3. If a person never feels lonely, it's a sign of Eeman.

In reality, a person is indeed lonely. He is all alone is his processes of creation, birth, death, and barzakh. Even on the day of Judgement, everyone will be worried about themselves, and so a person will be lonely in that sense. A mother will even leave her suckling new born.. Such is the gravity of this day.

4. It is in this world that we have been sent to live in a society, work for the society, but not become a prisoner of the society.

5. Even though during prayers we might be inattentive, but Allah's focus is on us is undivided.
Duas teach us Allah is not disturbed by one voice over another. He hears every voice just as clearly.

6. Agha Pananhiyan quotes a Hadees:
If there was just 1 believer left on the face of the Earth, Allah would find it sufficient to transfix his attention and make him the center of His attention.
'And I would make him familiar with his Eeman such that he doesn't feel lonely or dependent on anyone else. Because he will understand he as has Me' .

This is reflected in Imam Hussain's Dua e Arafah:
He who attains You requires nothing else..

7. Imam Ali narrates a characteristic of a Momin in Khutba e Hammam in Nahjul Balagha:
That a believer's desire to meet Allah is so extreme, that it is possible his soul leaves his body, if the time of his death is not pre ordained.

8. We must check whether we are afraid of Loneliness?

Dua e Joshan e Kabeer teaches us that Allah is our familiar aid in times of fear.

9. If I have Quran and nothing else I won't be afraid. And if I have everyhting else but not Quran I won't be at ease. (Hadees of Imam)

10. A person who then establishes contacts and relationships with others is not be cause he is afraid of being lonely but rather as fulfillment of divine duties.

11. Surah Anaam also mentioned that those who belive and improve their affairs they won't have any fright. And a similar verse in surah Aaraf where Taqwa is mentioned to bring the same results.

12. Agha Panahyan says we consider things single pronged. Whereas they are often multi pronged.
For eg a person who is never afraid can not be considered good.
A person must be afraid of Allah's wrath, Hell fire. The same person must be fearless in worldly matters.

Shaitan instills fright in people. Such as when a perosn wants to give charity the fear of becoming poor is is induced by shaitan.

Eeman makes a person takes decision according to Allah's will only being fearless of negative results.

The fear which protects us from sins is good fear.

Similarly Sharm o Haya (Being shy and modest) is not always a noble trait.
For eg when someone is being ripped off of his rights, being shy and not doing anything is condemned.

13. Good yields good, wrong yields wrong.
When some one who always does good, faces a tough situation, or a seemingly bad outcome, it may mean it is his trial.

Imam Ali once told his companion, who was bitten by a scorpion. Imam said this was because you failed to defend Salman when he was being ridiculed in a gathering. He out of shyness failed to defend him.

This anecdote emphasizes on the Sanctity of a Believer.

You must have the guts to speak up and not be shy when a right is being usurped.

Such shyness is negative and condemned.

14. Removal of Fear, enables a believer to discharge his duties in the way of Allah properly.

We recite in Zyarat of Imam Ali that criticism of critics could not shake him from his path.

15. Making the grounds for IMAM Mahdi is Wajib for each and everyone of us. Not just those on the mimber, becuase we all will share the benefits when he will arrive.

16. Imam Hussain's Azadari should have built Helpers of Imams for each regime had Azadari been commemorated properly, even in history.

17. Imam Khomenie reflects the power of Eeman derived from teachings of Ahlulbait. He said if all his supporters left him and started Denouncing him, he would still continue doing what he did. For his efforts were for Allah.

1. People who do not have proper arguments, put forward fallacies... Presenting fallacies is not necessarily with malice.
Ilm e Mantiq teaches a person the skill to differentiate between a real argument and a fallacy.

2. Ayyema have said during ghaibat, our Shias are orphans in terms of knowledge. Ulama and Fuqaha who provide them knowledge are like guardians who take care of orphans.

3. Ijma (consensus) is also not a source of Sharyat in Shia'ism. For us Imam is the a Hujjat. If he is there in the pool of consensus than we can accept the ruling. Otherwise if all other people agree on something but the Imam says somehting else. Imam will remain the Hujjat.

Sunni school of thought admit, 100% consensus is not practically possible. So they propose "consensus of various groups" may lead to a valid consensus, such as consensus of Ulama.

However Ijma does have a significant wieghtage.

Sources of Islamic Jurisprudence and Tools of Islamic Jurisprudence are different.

Ijma is a tool. Not a source. Sources are Quran and Sunnah.

4. Ahle Hadees don't do Taqleed and forbid it. But they are not against Ijtehad.
The Shia Group Akhbari was made by a Scholar inspired by them in the 10th century. This group was against Ijtehad as well, against Verification of ahadees. This group said accept all Ahadees no matter what.

5. Shias never claim all Ahadees are correct.

6. A Muhaddis compiles Ahadees. A Faqih sorts it out as authentic and inauthentic ones.

7. In the period of Ghaybat e Sughra, Fuqaha were there, Nayebeen e Imam were there and Muhadisseen were there too.

8. Taqleed is a practical approach which is necessary, atleast till one is able to build the capacity of Ijtehad in himself.

9. Surah Ahzab verse 67 is used by those who oppose Taqleed.

"And they shall say: O our Lord! surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path;"

Likewise Surah Baqarah and Surah Mayeda have verses that say
When people are invited to come towards Allah's Path, they say they want to stick to the path of their forefathers.

Taqleed of forefathers and Influential figures is indeed condemned. These leaders were Mushrikeen in that Era.

Also this taqleed that has been condemned, pertains to beliefs/Aqayed. One has to use logic and reason to understand Aqayed. No Taqleed is allowed here.

10. Taqleed is in Furooh'hee Ahkam. Where there are multiple views.

Taqleed is following someone's knowledge. It is not Peeri Mureedi.

10. Qum is the nest for the School of Ahlulbait. Sheikh Kulaini, Sheikh Tusi Sheikh Sudooq were all from Iran.

*Affects of Eeman*

18th Muharram
Markazi Imambargah Jafar e Tayyar

1. Effects reveal the reality behind it.

2. One effect of Eeman is Peace.

Allah has revealed peace upon believers so it may help increase their faith. (Quran)

3. Striving to acquire Peace is in the nautre of Humans. Peace of mind is necessary for a human being.

4. A child sleeps peacefully in his mother's arms no matter how hostile the outside conditions are. This is because he has full faith in his mother for taking care of him.

5. Agha Behjat says the faith a child has in his mother, if we have that much in Allah, our lives will be different.

6. A child has faith in his mother because it witnesses the mother providing for all of his needs. Do we not witness Allah providing everything for us?

7. Allah has said he will put us in trials... But a believer must have faith: if we work for His Cause, he will grant us peace.

8. Imam Khomenie termed Martyrdom of his son as a divine gift from Allah.
A believer doesn't complain on tribulations. Rather considers it a blessing.

9. Imam Mahdi's advent will fill our lives with Peace because the world will be filled with justice.

10. While Faith brings peace, it also has another effect which is completely opposite:
Restlessness /Be'Karari.
This restlessness is not granted to all but only special momineen/believers.

11. One of the symbols of a Bleiver is always looking forward and being restless to meet Allah.

12. Ayyema used to have Be'karari to arrive in the Bargah of Allah.
This Be'karari is desirable and is a symbol of Faith/Eeman.

13. When the time of Namaz arrived Rasool Allah used to be restless. He would ask Bilal to give Azan... From which he derived comfort.

14. 2nd type of discomfort that comes through Eeman:

Being distrubed/restless for the creation of Allah is also a noble trait and an affect of Eeman.

15. Allah said we have not revealed Quran to burden you.

(Beware, of keeping a tutor who's behavior ends up making your children find Quran a burden. Harsh methodoly of teaching, forcing such children to Hifz who do not have the capacity, these are examples too of what might make Quran a burden and be counterproductive.

Its more important to make your children Haamil e Quran and after this Aamil e Quran.
(COMPREHENDING Quran and then ACTING UPON it)

16. There are verses which ask Rasool Allah to just preach and not be worried.
(so much so that he might up giving away his life)
This shows Rasool Allah had a restleesenes to bring people Closer to Allah and would strive for it rigorously.

17. The second type of restleesenes resulting from Eeman, is to be restless about Awliya e Khuda.

18. Rasool Allah said the best ibadat for my Ummah is to wait for the Hujjat.

This involves to be struggling for brignging betterment and changing the dark gloomy systems of the world.

19. Today is Friday. Do we have the requisite restlessness for Imam Mahdi?

20. Learn from children. They do not take attractive things from strangers. They are reluctant and step back when a stranger offers something. But when his parents offer him he takes it.

Point to learn : If you accept worldly things from anyone, be sure they come from the right hands of the Ahlulbait.

21. Dua e Nudba reflects restlessness to seek Imam Mahdi.
A believer must have this Restlessness.

22. One restless soul can bring a revolution. Imam Khomenie was restless about why has the period of Zuhoor been pushed back so much. Why is the Imam not there.
He explained through his efforts the real definition of Intezaar e Imam.

23. If we have more people resltess like Imam Khomenie, Zuhoor would come alot early.

24. The sentences of Dua e Nudba are revolutionary. It brings people together in restlessness for the Wali.
Islamic Revolution of Iran is the greatest example for this today.

25. Bibi Fatima was the 1st person resltess for the Wali of her Times and came out of her house to protest for the rights of the Wali. Bibi Zainab was restless for the Wali.

We must decide whether we should pray for only peace from Allah, or this restlessness too, for the Wali of our Times?

1. Qiyas is forbidden in Shia'ism.

2. Abul Asfad e Dueli, student of Imam Ali was the first person to put Aerab in Quran.

3. Ijtehad literally means struggle :
In Shia'ism Ijtehad means Istamba'at, to go in the depth of something to understand it. Go deep in Quran and Sunnat to find solutions to a problem. In Shia'ism it is believed: all problems have a solution in Quran and Sunnah, only an expert just needs to discover it from there.

In Suni'ism, Ijtehad means to find out solutions to problems not addersed by Quran and Sunnah.

Shia's object to Sunni definition of Ittehad because their definition of Ijtehad means, the sources of religion are incomprehensive, and hence they resort to looking elsewhere.

Any solution given from sources other than Quran and Sunnah can not to be Deen, for this solution would be non divine.

4. Qiyas was introduced by those who raised the slogan "The book is sufficient for Us"...

5. Our Ayyema authorized people to perform Ijtehad.

6. 5th and 6th Imam got the chance to preach openly during the power struggle of Ummayads and Abbasids and build learned Scholars.

7. Several Ayyema were mentioned in this Majlis who advised their followers in other cities to resort for their questions to certain learned individuals (who were non masoom).
In one riwayat, the Imam used the words Fatwa, and advised his close learned companion to sit in Masjid e Nabwi and give Fatwas.
These people used to answer each person according to their own school of thought.

8. Imam Sadiq had a whole network of his companions who were spread in Kufa, Yemen, Basra etc who were taksed with collecting Khums, engaged in spending according to Imam's wishes, sent money back to the Imam which was also a very difficult issue, and gave Fatwas.
Meeting the Imam was difficult for them too, usually only in Hajj time they met.

9. Sheikh Sudooq's father, who's grave is in Qum, was companion of Imam Hasan Askari. He was his representative in Qum.

10. A Hadees has been mentioned in the books
Ehtijaj e Tabrezi and Tafseer e Imam Hassan Askari

Imam Hasan Askari said a man came to Imam Sadiq once and asked him whether the Muslim masses who perform Taqleed are as condemned as the Jewish masses (referring to a verse that said the Jewish masses are condemened for their taqleed).

Imam Sadiq there is 1 similarity and 1 difference in the 2 Ummats.

Imam said the difference is Jewish masses knew that their scholars are avid liars, eat haram and take bribes and change Allah's Ahkam.
Yet they followed such scholars.

Imam said if our masses are like this then they are also condemned. Implying if its clear to them that the scholars they follow are corrupt, greedy of this World, Fasiq, then their taqleed is condemned.

Then Imam Sadiq says

Amongst Fuqaha, search for those who protect their Nafs, protect religion, counter their desires, and are subservient to Allah.

Imam said the Awaam/Masses should do Taqleed of such a Faqih. The word Taqleed has come in Imam's own sentence.

If taqleed was an unpleasant thing then why did he say it?

11.
Imam said these 4 qualities are only found in a few Fuqaha. Not all Fuqaha.

It is possible that there may be Fuqhaa who are experts in their religious knowledge, but not as pure to meet the criteria given by the Imam.

12.
When we need to go for a surgery we make sure that the doctor is not only an expert surgeon, but also an honest person. Otherwise it is possible that he may take out our kidney for example.
Of course only an expert can take out an organ and do a transplant. A layman can't do it. So expertise and knowledge is not the only criteria.

If we are so cautious about who to hand over our body to, we must also be cautious who we hand over our religious matters to.

We are told not to just follow any Faqih.

There may be Faqihs that are expert in their fields, tremendously knowledgeable, but if they do not have these 4 qualities, they can be very dangerous.
These 4 qualities have nothing to do with knowledge. Rather practice.

It is possible that at one time there are several Fuqaha... But it is your responsibility to find one with all these 4 qualities, for taqleed.
