It's not a company and custom made to order out of China, so some lead time to get the product.
That said I would have her move the clips up about an inch and sperated more, maybe even 3 clips and perhaps velcro if it won't stick to the screen or plactic snaps button.

Has your outer sliding door handle stopped releasing the latch? Seems to be an inherent problem with their handle mechanism.
Here's a so what quick fix.
If on the road with no drill, the larger zip tie laced under the entire handle would probably get you by till you can add another by drilling.
