Just a little teaser of Woolie’s Pikes Peak Race Bike shot for . I really do appreciate his use of tennis balls and zip ties to plug the race exhaust. It reminds me of all the tennis balls my father collected and used on the legs of all the chairs in his 5th grade classrooms for 6 years. Great men think alike. More to come....
Today ends motorcycle instruction for 2017. I calculated it out, and to date I've taught just over 3200 people how to ride a motorcycle in the past two years. That's insane!
My stoke for teaching new riders is just as high as it was when I first began.
Being an educator out on the range and in the classroom is no easy feat. It is a challenging and priceless experience. There are so many students with varying personalities and skill sets to adapt to but I'm confident I'm doing it well. Nothing is more gratifying than watching these individuals learn how these amazing machines work, overcome fears, and find a new source of confidence in themselves. I hope in some way my duties serve as an inspiration to these students to take motorcycling very seriously and continue their educations beyond just getting their license.
Learning to ride and continuing to better myself as a motorcyclist is a never ending journey. It continues to be one of the most fulfilling and rewarding choices I've ever made in my life.
I look forward to many more years of adventure and growth in everything I do in the motorcycle industry but for right now, I'm gonna go sip a glass a whiskey and ring in the new year with some good friends.
Happy New Year everyone!!!! 📸x .moto catching me cheesin'

Being the City Host for the Los Angeles The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is a monumental honor and privilege. I've been a part for the DGR since I heard about it in 2014 and in the last two years I have served as the City Host, organizing, facilitating and executing the ride. None of it could be done without a dedicated and brilliant team of volunteers.

It's always great when I am able to shoot and tell a story about a good friend. However, it sucks when you get slapped by the man for shooting without a permit. F**k the man. We just want to ride (and shoot) and be free.

The KTM Super Adventure 1290 cockpit is near perfect. Stupid easy accessories nav menu, analogue tach, shift light, and large readout speedo. This is one of my happy places.
A cause worth getting behind. Gimme your monies. Well give them to the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. http://www.livemotofoto.com/blog/2016/9/generations-video-and-the-2016-distinguished-gentlemans-ride

Summer Fashion with Field Scout and Company in Santa Monica - Day Shoot Day shoot with Field Scout in Santa Monica, CA
New Blog Post: I recently found a decade old roll of Tri-X I shot in NYC back when I first started taking my photography seriously. Most of the images didn't make the cut but some did out of the 24 exposures.
Digitally Processed an Old Roll of Tri-X from 2002 I was doing a little cleaning around the house and found a roll of old Kodak Tri-X I had I had forgot to develop. I tried to think back to where and when I shot Tri-X last as most of my recent B+W film work has been with Ilford HP5. I came to discover some scribbles still on the canister and it from...
Im going to begin doing more reviews in my blog beginning with this one. I just finished up this one regarding one of my favorite new cameras in recent years, The Fuji Finepix X100.

It is always a great feeling to see a production come to fruition. Here a talented friend of mine makes her debut into the world of directing and she knocks it out of the park. I was proud to lend my talents as set photographer.
Another blog post up. This time twas a day at Deus Ex Machina in Venice Beach enjoying vintage cameras, analog music, good people, cold beer and boss motorcycles.
Sound and Vision @ Deus Ex Machina: The Emporium of Postmodern Activities A day of vintage cameras and audio equipment, vinyl, beer, food, motorcycles, and good people. There is very little else the soul needs.
The Sit n' Sip Project continues! Recent additions to the project include the lovely Belina Maoli-Larsen and my good friend Matt Milian.
Sit n' Sip It is common practice across all cultures to develop and maintain relationships over a glass of wine, a plate of food, or a cup of tea. Irregardless of what is imbibed, sitting at a table for food and/or drink sets the tone of all relationships. Sit n' Sip is an ongoing personal photographic proj...
My blog takes on a bit of its own mind. I like to write and use it as a forum to keep my prose sharp but as a photographer I strive to accompany those words with pretty pretty photos. My latest post is about a bar in Downtown LA along with a simple and delicious drink called The American Trilogy.
Drink Review at The Association An impromptu stop into the The Association in downtown LA for drink and random photoshoot using light painting techniques.
Nothing quite beats the sunsets we are blessed with in the winter here in Los Angeles. Here are a few of the EPIC sunsets I shot from a few vantage points.
Winter Sunsets Looking West Majestic sunsets over the pacific. Shot from Century City and a few other vantage points in the grater LA area.
Im now booking headshots for the April/May and running a special. Packages starting at $120 (only for Facebook followers) and laughs, entertainment, and that warm fuzzy feeling you'll get at the end of a portrait session is totally free of charge. 24-48 hour deliverables for all clients.
As March comes to an end I am happy to put up my randoms from the past month. My travels took me up and down the California coast and in and around town. Here are just a few of the many photos I shot this past month.
Randoms of March Each month I feature random photographs from my travels around town, the state or the country.
2 more fantastic additions to my ongoing Sit n' Sip project. The lovely Korena Koba and Daniel Herscher sat with me (separately) to discuss the finer points of relationships, culture, beer, travel, art, fitness and life's little indulgences.

My search for great men's fashion continues but a month or two back I found a line that exemplifies my style for adventure and chic. An LA based company called Field Scout has everything I want and need in my day to day life as a photographer and urbanite.
The Quest for Great Men's Fashion in Los Angeles - Part One There comes a time in a man's life when you have to decide what am I going to wear that describes my lifestyle, my passions, my look.
An oldie but a goodie. Point and Shoots are not dead nor are they better than a dSLR but it helps to have one in your pack. People often ask me what kind of camera is a good for travel and my suggestion continues to be the Ricoh GR3 (or the GR4).
Camera Review - Ricoh GR3 My own review of the Ricoh GR3. The Ricoh what? You got to read to know. Its a great point and shoot.
Booking headshot sessions for March. I have a few more spots open. Contact me for details at [email protected]
Im offering some amazing wedding packages for the month of October. For all of you that are OR know someone getting married this Fall, please contact me for details.
Only two headshot session left in October. Book now!
About LiveMotoFoto
Can't Stop, Won't Stop. I'm just a writer and photographer with an obsession for all wheeled modes of transportation.
I’ll try my best not to butcher the English language when writing about them but expect colorful, honest, and quirky opinons on these simple but often complex machines.
Photography is one of those things I intrinsically love. I’ve been a photographer for a long time. Recently I’ve been shooting a lot of Automotive and Motorcycle content but I’ve never felt compelled to adhere one genre. However, LiveMotoFoto is where I feature this style of photography.
Hopefully I can balance out my crummy writing with some pretty photography.
