Treat someone with respect even if they don’t deserve it because it has more to do with how you feel about God than them actually deserving respect.

Romans 12:20 says, “Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.” In other words, showing respect when others may not deserve it allows them to feel remorse and possibly change their ways.
