PMA Entrance Examination 2022:
For PMA Class of 2027

FORT GENERAL GREGORIO H DEL PILAR, Baguio City –The country's premiere military institution is opening its doors to qualified individuals with the potential qualities to become part of the Cadet Corps Armed Forces of the Philippines. The PMAEE is conducted yearly to recruit the best and the brightest among the Filipino youths who opted to accept the PMA challenge: "To be a Steward of Courage, Integrity, and Loyalty." PMA cadets shall later serve as military officers and leaders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Qualification for cadet candidates must be a natural-born Filipino citizen, at least a Senior High School graduate (or currently Grade 12), single, have never been married nor pregnant, and have no legal obligation to support a child or children. Interested cadet applicants must be physically and mentally fit, with a minimum height of five feet, no criminal background, and of good moral character, at least 17 years old and not more than 22 years old on June 1, 2023. Applicants may submit their application through regular mail or courier services. They may also take advantage of the online application through the academy's website at www.pma.ph. The deadline for mail and online application is on August 1, 2022.

The PMA Entrance Examination aims to measure applicants' mental ability in Math Calculation (Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Basic Statistics), English Reading and Writing (Grammar, Composition, and Reading Comprehension), and Special Aptitude Test.

Walk-in applicants on the day of the examination, with complete documents, may take the examination as the last priority candidate. Walk-in applicants should bring the following: Duly accomplished application form, two pcs 2x2 ID Picture (White Background), Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate and Form 137/138 (for High School level) or Transcript of Records (for College level), Mongol Pencil #2, Valid ID, and Vaccination Card and Negative Antigen Test within 24 hours.

Following are the benefits and privileges waiting for successful cadet candidates to compose the PMA Class of 2027, such as noble privilege in serving the country and its people, free college education with a well-rounded curriculum, monthly pay and allowances of P48,000 per month, progressive career as an Officer in the Army, Air Force, or Navy, specialized professional training for military, and exceptional training and billeting facilities.
PMA entrance examination will be conducted in forty-seven different testing centers all over the country. PMA will administer the test on the following dates as follows: Mindanao testing centers on 27 and 28 August 2022, followed by Visayas Testing Centers on 10 and 11 September 2022, and lastly, Luzon Testing Centers on 24 and 25 September 2022. HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE PNPACAT CY 2022 (for PNPA Class 2027)?

Basic Qualification Standard:

1. Must be 18 to 22 years old BEFORE June 1, 2023;

2. Must be at least Senior High School Graduate BEFORE June 1, 2023 (graduating students may apply provided that they will complete all the requirements for graduation before admission should they pass);

3. Must be a Filipino Citizen;

4. Must have a NORMAL BMI;

5. Single with NO parental obligation;

6. Must be (minimum barefoot) 5’2” (158.4 cm) for males and 5’0 (152.4 cm) for females;

7. PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY fit to undergo rigorous training;

8. With good moral character (not have been convicted of any criminal, administrative or civil case);

9. No pending case of moral
turpitude/crimes against the state;

10. Not a former cadet of PNPA and other service academies; and

11. Never been dismissed for cause from any private or government position.

***All possible questions relative to this may be answered if the post is carefully read and understood. These requirements cannot be waived or adjusted for conformity. Do not apply if you are not qualified.

Tentatively scheduled on October 29 and 30, 2022 (subject to the approval of the CPNP), again we will make official announcements.

In the 34 Testing Centers Nationwide. Those will be provided as choices in your online application.

ATTENTION ON THE NEW CURRICULUM!!

To all criminology graduates from batch 2021 backward who have not taken their board examination please be advised of the following:

1. Effective Dec. 2022 CLE a new set of coverage will be observed.

(There will be subjects to be added like: VICTIMOLOGY, CYBERCRIME INVESTIGATION, THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES, ENVIRONMENTAL CRIMES, HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION, DISPUTE RESOLUTION, LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATION & PLANNING WITH CRIME MAPPING Etc.)

2. Those who graduated under the old curriculum (cmo21 s. 2005 for criminology) might be required to take a refresher course if they would take the exam starting 2nd batch of 2022; and

3. Those who will take the board this June 2021, Dec 2021 and June 2022 the 50% requirement for each subject will still be enforced. The 60% minimum requirement per subject will be applied on the 2nd batch of CLE for 2022.

Better take and pass the exam before the 2nd batch of CLE 2022.

- Simple lang hindi kayang sagutan o walang sapat na ideya o kaalaman and mga OLD CURRICULUM dahil magiging bago o madadagdagan na ang nilalaman ng BOARD EXAM.

MCG Tumaas ba ang passing rate?
-Yes, Dahil maari ka pa ring makakuha ng 75% as GWA ngunit ipinagbabawal na ang pagkakaroon ng mas baba sa 60% sa kada module o subject.

Tumaas na ang passing, isipin mo nalang noon nahihirapan ka na sa mas mababang passing rate or grade na hinihingi ng board ngayon pa kayang mas tataasan nila, kaya't kung ako sayo mas maging handa at madiskarte ka sa paghahandan sa nalalapit na laban mo.

MCG may limitasyon na ba ang pagkuha ng Board Exam para sa mga hindi sinuwerte?
-Oo, dahil kinakailangan nilang makakuha ng mas mataas na passing rate sa susunod na pagkuha nila ng CLE, kinakailangan nilang makakuha ng 80% ngunit kinaganda lamang nito ang tanging ireretake mo ay ang mga module o subject lamang na ibinagsak mo. Ngunit eto ay may limitasyon nito sa dalawang (2) taon na ikaw ay hindi kumilos o nagexam ulit sa mga nasabing module na bagsak mo, ikaw ay kukuha na ulit ng BUONG BOARD EXAM ibigsabhin kung sa una ang kukunin mo lang ay ang bagsak mo, dito kung dalawang taon mo ito ipagkikibit balikat imbes na dalawa magiging back to zero ka.

"Today marks our final day serving as your SBO Officers as we pass the torch to next academic year’s leadership. The opportunity to represent this remarkable community has been an immense honor and one that we will forever feel lucky to have had. We set out a year ago hoping to leave our Department better than we found it. Admittedly, the year that followed was far from what any of us had imagined. We hope that our community, appreciating how difficult it is to go through a year of classes apart, will come together like never before once we can gather in person again. And we hope that we will each be able to draw strength from the knowledge that we completed a portion of CCJE, a difficult task during the best of times, under the most trying of circumstances.

Finally, let us all be inspired by the examples of those who responded to the challenge of this year by seeking to serve those around them. The students who took on the role of organization leaders. The students who remained engaged in shaping CCJE by collaborating and communicating student concerns to the administration were instrumental in pushing the school to adjust to the pandemic according to students’ needs. The faculty and staff who also went the extra mile to keep CCJE functioning through this crisis do not ask for our gratitude, but they deserve it.

Indeed, we are proud of the legacy that this year’s Student Government is leaving behind.

It was a privilege to contribute to the unending mission of improving the CCJE student experience. Although we are sad that we must soon depart from this special place, we also cannot wait to see the wonderful things in store for CCJE as our community transitions into a brighter and more promising chapter.

As Academic Year 2022-2023 is fast approaching, the College of Criminal Justice Education is now ready to appoint the new GOVERNOR of the College. There were two candidates coming from the Third Year ( Incoming Fourth Year for the next Academic Year) who were qualified and was selected by virtue of the CBL (Constitutional and By-Laws) of the College and with the help of the SBO Officers and ofcourse with the approval of the College Dean. The New Governor will continue the goal and practices of the Department and that is to maintain the CAMARADERIE, DISCIPLINE and INTEGRITY amongst students of the College of Criminal Justice Education.
