Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve done an introduction, so I wanted to say hey 👋🏻 I want first say thank you so much for being here and cheering my business on!

If you don’t know, I started this account 6 years ago (wow time flies!) after we bought our first home. And a DIY blog last year. I wanted to share our journey of turning our builder grade house into a home that we love by doing budget friendly diys and showing others that if I can do it, they to can easily create a home they love.

I’m a Texan born and raised 🇨🇱 A Mama to 3 kiddos, 13 (😳 how do I have a teenager?!) 11, and 9. My husband and I will celebrate 14 years of marriage this September 🤍

I’m an introvert, outside of my small circle…I feel drained after being out around people so I’m very much a homebody. Showing my face on stories doesn’t happen much because of this, but I’m trying to grow and push myself outside my comfort zone!

I believe turning your house into a home you love should be fun! It doesn’t have to be intimidating or stressful, it should be a fun process and reflect you + your families personality! Create a home YOU love and a place you want to be. 🤍

I love a good before and after don’t you?! With a little paint, 2x2 wood legs and some pretty brass hardware this IKEA Malm dresser got a simple yet lovely glow up 😍 What is your favorite detail? The color, the wood detail or the brass pulls?

Simple Spring living room. Love that the big black box can now be a beautiful piece of art in your home!

Our new fireplace from Dimplex North America beautifully completed our living room! 🤍 Looking forward to using it again when the weather becomes chilly enough!

Quick and easy diy! There are always a ton of lamps at thrift stores in a variety of shapes and sizes. When I came across this matching set for only $10 each I snatched them up so fast! The shape is perfect and I loved the pleated shades 😍

For this set I chose to paint the color Woodland Lichen by Sherwin-Williams I wanted something darker but I didn’t want black. I miiight do the aged pottery paint that’s popular right now eventually.

Spring break didn’t go as we planned…half the family got a tummy bug that lasted a few days, so our plans were cancelled. Glad we got to finish the break with a cozy family movie night by our Dimplex North America Revillusion fireplace 🤍

Sharing one last cozy Christmas view. We put all Christmas away, and did a deep clean of most of the house today. It’s feels so bare, but it’s so nice to have a fresh clean house to start off the new year! When do you take Christmas down? Day after or do you wait a week or two??

What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food?? I think mine is brussel sprouts (probably not a thanksgiving side for most) with green bean casserole being a close second.

I went super simple with Christmas decor this year…sprinkling in greenery, and twinkle lights here and there. This might be my favorite Christmas decor yet.

Also, I painted the house this past week and to say I’m obsessed is an understatement! This color is Shoelace by 😍

It’s finally finished!!!! 🎉 Okkk I still have to paint the walls in the water closet…but the floor is done, the frame and new light fixture are installed, new towel rack is built and installed…ahhh I finally having a pretty bathroom! Thanks for sticking with me through this refresh! So many of y’all have helped me with color choices, picking out the stencil for the floor, and have shared my reels and pictures of the process. The stencil for the master bath floor came today! 🤗 Now on to the hard part of choosing a color and then the tedious part of stenciling the floor! I had this chalk paint in my stash and decided to give it a try...but I’m on the fence about it! What are your favorite greige colors?! Surprisingly everyone else in the house said they really like this color...even the hubby! 😱 I like the little bit of warmth it adds, but idk if this is the right color...

Whew, snapping a pic in a bathroom with zero natural light is haaaard y’all! (First world problems, I know!) But second coat of paint is on the floor, I will probably do one more coat before I stencil and seal! What do you think of it so far?! It brightened up this room so much!

We don’t know them all, but we owe them all! 🇺🇸 This “long weekend” isn’t just about pool time and bbqs. Forever grateful for the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

It was bound to happen eventually, and with the weather being what it has been all week I needed a project! So master bathroom refresh has begun! When I saw Regan’s () pigeon kitchen, I knew I wanted cabinets that color just wasn’t sure where. I’m so happy with how they turned out! 😍 Next up, paint the walls Shoelace by , freshen up the trim with bright white, and paint the floor! I MIGHT even do a tiny stencil in the cabinet color too! I’m also on the hunt for a pretty new light fixture or two, so share your favorite vanity lights with me!

I recently got some new kitchen towels off Amazon, and they are now my favorite! They are 100% cotton and come in a few different styles. I love the flour sack towels, but the waffle weave are my absolute favorite! I not only love the look of them, but they are so absorbant!
