So delighted to have been part of the process for the scholarship. Inequality in the music industry and in audio education is reaaaal and tough, but being part of the small steps like this and getting to know all of the incredible musicians and producers that were interested in it was amazing! Hope we see more and more of this in the future! 💖💖
Posted • Last year we launched the Abbey Road Scholarship Programme to support two aspiring black music engineers to join ’s Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering and then undertake a one year engineering placement at the Studio. Applications closed in February and we were delighted and overwhelmed by the response and the very high standard of submissions. ⁣⁣

The Abbey Road Scholarship Panel then had the difficult decision of choosing the two successful students who will be joining their June course this year. Congratulations to the successful candidates, Justina and Callum!⁣⁣
