Isn’t this just adorable?! I was excited to make this cake for today. 2 layers of vanilla cake with American buttercream frosting.

I had a request this week for a Detroit lions cake. 3 layers of delicious chocolate cake covered in Swiss Meringue Buttercream. Score! 🏈

Another sweet creation I made this week, the ever so delicious, snickers brownies. My sister put in her request for her and her friends so I made it happen.

They’re rich, big, and oh so good. I worked on several iterations trying to perfect this recipe and I’m not disappointed 😍

A fun cake I made for my kiddo’s travel ball team party. 3 layers of chocolate with traditional buttercream. I didn’t know if it would survive the heat but it did 😅

3 layers of chocolate goodness with oreos inbetween each. Coated with oreo Swiss meringue buttercream. It’s half the sweetness of traditional American buttercream frosting and tastes kind of like ice cream when done right 👌🏼

Today’s cake was for my oldest who turned 13! He loves Impractical Jokers so I had clips from some of his favorite scenes printed as an edible image. He LOVED this cake. As family arrived he kept telling them to check out his cake. At one point, he called it drippy (means cool in teen talk). ♥️

Top was 3 layers of moist red velvet. Bottom was 4 layers of vanilla almond. Both were covered in his favorite Swiss meringue buttercream.

This was a fun cake to make!
A friend from church wanted to surprise her husband who was coming home and had earned a promotion to Captain (represented here by the 4th stripe). I also learned for the last 3 years, he always carries a pen her mom gave him in his pocket so made sure to incorporate it.

Cake was an Oreo cake layered and covered in Swiss Meringue Buttercream (and extra Oreo in between each layer). Heather said “It tasted great! The frosting was a huge hit. Sooooo yummy!”
