Congratulations to Ms. Dishon Persaud and Ms. Sarah David-Longe on their win at the final round of the recently concluded HWLS 50th Anniversary Moot Competition.
They endured four intense rounds of competition, winning their year group finals and now emerging with the coveted ‘Champions of Champions’ title, well done ladies!

We honour their sacrifice and unwavering commitment to national service, and their memory will endure in our hearts.

We invite you to join us on October 27th at 1:00 pm for a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar featuring Dr. Quincy Jones. This informative event will take place in the Lecture Theatre and will focus on:
Breast Cancer Screening for both males and females.
Prevention strategies.
Early detection methods.

The seminar is expected to last 30 to 45 minutes, followed by a short interactive session.

You are formally invited to the the annual Law School Orientation for Prospective Students which will be held on the 17th of August, 2023 in the George Walcott Lecture Theatre.
The event will furnish prospective students with the requisite information to prepare them for attendance at the Hugh Wooding School. ⚖️👩⚖️

The Guyana Jurisdiction Committee is saddened by the death of Ms. Asasha Ramzan who was called to the Guyana Bar in November, 2020 and served as a Counsel of the State.
The Guyana jurisdiction Committee and the Guyanese contingent of the Hugh Wooding Law School express our deepest condolences to Ms. Ramzan’s family, friends, loved ones and the legal fraternity of Guyana.
May we remember her as the dedicated change maker she strived to be and may her soul Rest In Peace.
