DCP Deltas supported the Douglas County Back to School Bash and the Paulding County Back to School Bash in support of our service area communities.

DCP IS THE PLACE TO BE! What an awesome Executive Board Retreat. We now have 5 strategies for time management. Thanks Dr. Deborah Johnson-Blake for an outstanding presentation. Our Ex. Board members received a copy of her book 52 Time Management H. A. C. K. S.

Douglas, Carroll and Paulding counties friends, family, and other organization members join us on August 17th and 18th as we kickoff our 2024-2025 Sorority year of events and activities to serve you in your communities.

The sorors of Douglas Carroll Paulding Counties Alumnae Chapter volunteered at the Paulding United Food Pantry.

Families were given food, clothing and shoes to start the school year. It was a great collaboration between DCP Deltas, Hiram Order of the Eastern Star, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Alpha Alpha Psi Omega chapter, and Hiram Masonic Lodge #636.

Special thanks to the social workers of Paulding County School District who identifies families in need. Kim Cayetano does an amazing job of being a bridge between Paulding United and the school system.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. joins in the celebration of to commemorate June 19, 1865, a date two and a half years after emancipation when our enslaved ancestors in Texas, the most remote “slave-holding” state, were finally informed they were free.

As we celebrate freedom, let us never cease in our efforts to empower our communities and elevate our impact in the memory of our ancestors!
