HANTEX has successfully achieved Green to Wear (GTW) status by Inditex.

The Green to Wear Standard has been designed to evaluate the environmental performance of mills to help them to reduce their environmental impact by applying real, practical measures to improve their environmental performance and their use of natural resources.

To achieve this, professional experts in the textile industry visit the mills to assess first-hand their real situation and to evaluate them using the Green to Wear assessment standards in the following areas: raw materials, water, technology and processes, chemical products, wastewater, waste, and energy.

We are proud to announce that our denim mill HANTEX has been OEKO TEX - STANDARD 100 (Class-1) certified. It is one of the highest standards of textile products tested for harmful substances. A firm vision of continuous improvement towards sustainable and safe products has enabled our mill to supply world-class standards yarns and fabrics.

DCC is collaborating with health professionals to spread awareness among its employees under "C2 - Conscious Citizen" program. The aim of C2 is to educate employees about various health problems and their prevention by adapting healthy lifestyle and precautionary measures.

In the month of December, DCC organized a C2 - Conscious Citizen workshop for awareness of HIV/AIDS and its precautionary measures. The HIV prevention and treatment programs are effective in reducing incidence of HIV/AIDS infection at the national and regional levels through early diagnosis, treatment and care. However, still HIV is a public health problem which need to be addressed.
