As I won’t be able to paint for a little while I decided to try something new 🤓 also very relaxing 😌….

My last couple of in person classes took place today. It was a fun day but also a little bittersweet for me. I’m sad I won’t be able to teach you in person any more, but I’m also excited that the new chapter is beginning for me. I hope you enjoyed the sessions and improved your skills, and I’ll make sure to keep you posted on the online class schedule when it’s available. ❤️😘

Yesterday we did a painting on a black canvas. I love doing those, especially with new students. Because what happens is that you put some paint on to start with and you can’t see any differences. And then magic happens 😁 and it all starts making sense. If you painted on black canvas before you probably understand what I mean 😊

P.S. in a few days class schedule for December will be coming out. It’s very likely that these will be my last classes in person in Worksop as I’m relocating soon to another country. Today would have been Bob Ross’ 81 birthday. It’s also a full year since I started teaching- it’s been a blast! So much happened during this year and it’s all connected to Bob. All I can say is Thank You Bob! ❤️

Today’s students, Mum and Daughter duo - Jackie and Julie - tried Bob’s joy of painting for the first time 😊 We all had a good time chatting and learning. And have a look at the results 😊🎨🖼️

My latest work from the class I had with a very talented young lady 😊 Class was fun, we both enjoyed it. I never appreciated how much satisfaction it will bring me teaching others and seeing them beam with pride at the end of the class 😊

Ever wondered how hard is it to paint a cabin? Nicola and I were practicing today. 🎨
It turned out pretty good 😊

Painting brings me a lot of pleasure and joy. I find it very relaxing too 😊
But teaching and seeing my students enjoy it, improve over time and look in admiration at what they have achieved is so satisfying.
