Turtle season has officially started!! 🙌🏼

It's official - the turtle season has started. The first turtle arrived at Bundaberg last night to nest, marking the start of the turtle season as Mon Repos.
This flatback turtle is 70-years-old and is the world’s longest studied turtle. She first nested at Mon Repos beach in 1974, making this is her 17th breeding season. Amazing!
