Yesterday marked 10yrs since my first live show as Yumi And The Weather.

I'm really excited for the years to come.

Lots that I want to say - but in short, I am thankful for everyone who has been involved over the years and who has helped me make my music project come to life.

I'm not solely a musician, and find it hard to be tbh as find it quite intense putting all my eggs in one basket.
I like creating art in my spare time in and enjoy helping other bands and people with their creative projects.

I see Yumi And The Weather as my music outlet and gives me a reason to finish songs and put them out through this name, hence why I love writing many genres, and not part of a set scene. Music (except for Electro Swing) means so much to me and I have met so many wonderful people because of it. It truly is a magical community I am so happy to be part of.

I am so lucky to have a team that help me release music through my own label so big shout out to Martin, Josh (who have been there since the beginning) and Rosie who has been helping the last few years.

Shout out to Charlie Smith who was a key player at the beginning, and who made sure I didn't sign all my rights away to the gross industry machine.

I appreciate you and who ever else is following me on my journey either recently or from the start. It's not been an easy one as I have battled with imposter syndrome/intrusive thoughts for most of the years doing this project, and it's been peaceful the last three years thank goodness and this is mainly due to better self care.

Excited to show you the next few songs have been working on, and looking forward to announcing my first 10 day tour very soon 🤩

Finally can speak about this!!

Got an amazing music video coming by the uber talented with patience of a saint: for album track 'Imagine'.

We (but mainly she!) has been quietly developing and working on this stop animation for the last few months and happy to announce that it's finally coming out very soon!!
