Ravil Mingazov and his family were fleeing Russia when Ravil was seized and sold to the US army for a bounty. That’s how he ended up in Guantánamo. He spent nearly 15 years there without charge or trial. Then, in 2017, the US Government transferred Ravil to the United Arab Emirates. He should have been able to start rebuilding his life and reunite with his family. Instead, he was thrown into another prison without reason. He’s been there for nearly 5 years – all because of the stigma of Guantánamo Bay. That’s why, together, we’re speaking out for Ravil. Thank you. 🧡
