∆ Eid Gift: This is al-Hadīth al-Musalsal with a direct chain from me to the beloved Prophet (saaw), narrated by all its narrators on the day of ‘Īd. I permit all my students to narrate it further with accepted conditions of Muhadithīn. May Allāh (swt) accept our ‘Īd and forgive our sins. Āmīn
* The hadith reads: ibn ‘Abbās (ra) said: I witnessed the day of ‘Īd with the Messenger of Allāh (saaw). When he completed his prayer, he turned towards us with his blessed face and said: (O people, you have experienced goodness on this day, so whoever wants to leave can leave and whoever wants to stay and listen to the sermon can stay).
We should not waste the habits developed in Ramadhān after it. Fast 2 days a week, pray at least 2 raka‘āt tahajjud in the night, recite 1 juzz every day, give charity at least once a week, make morning and evening dhikr regularly, be consistent in making du‘ā etc. May Allāh (swt) help us remain steadfast on these good deeds after this month. Āmīn
Allāh (swt) hasn't promised Muslims ‘perpetual’ political authority on earth. This is against the divine pattern of ibtilā’ (test). What He (swt) has promised us is nusrah and good ‘āqibah in this world and the hereafter. Defeat and Deprivation are stages leading towards Nusrah.

(Laylatul Qadr is a night in which some aspects of the heavenly realm are manifested).
*al-Imām al-Ghazālī
The hearts of banū isrā’īl were hardened due to their transgression in upholding the “letter of the law” while neglecting the “spirit of the law” (al-An‘ām: 146). For this reason, the mission of sayyidunā ‘Īsā (as) was to revive the spirit of the law. So, Jewish legalism/racialism was confronted by Universalism of ‘Īsā (as).
According to the Qur‘ān, the obsession of early banū isrā’īl with the color and perfect characteristics of the cow (red/yellow cow free from fault) because God deserves the best sacrifice while neglecting the honor of human life, turned their hearts hard like stones.
