As a Delegate Assembly member for region 9, I attended my first Session in Sacramento. CSBA’s Delegate Assembly is a vital link in the association’s governance structure. Working with local districts, county offices, the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Delegates ensure that the association reflects the interests of school districts and county offices of education throughout the state. Shout out to all my fellow DAs, Trustees and CLSBA colleagues, we are everywhere! Si Se Puede y Aho! It was also great to see our very own Dr. Bettye Lusk sitting in the VP chair as we voted for policy direction and advocacy at a state level. 🙌🏽 From micro to macro and back again, doing work that will impact my children and future generations to come, it’s why I do it!
